Unpopular opinion : I prefer this guys less “specific” songs. Like this kinda song could apply to more zenistu. And it’s the sincerity and the meaning in the words and you can tell this sword was written for zenistu. and yet no mention of the demon Corp. or breathing or anything like that. I love it when he writes his music like this. It feels more personal to the character despite no mention of names or people.

My grandfather passed away two weeks ago, and then my dog a week after that only a day or two after the funeral. It’s been a rough holiday. A lot of emotion. My grandfather was a wonderful musician, a piano player, and we’ve been playing some of his recordings and it’s been rough. Beautiful, but rough. I guess I’m saying this because this makes describes how I’ve been feeling. My grandfather passing lit a fire under me initially, gave me a spark of determination to heed his advice and move forward in my life, to get started on the life I want to live. But as the days go on, I become more and more melancholy. Not depressed, but melancholy I would say. He was the greatest man anyone knew, and everyone who knew him would say the same. So something has awoken inside me, but the emotion surrounding that spark is melancholy, much like with this song. The voice that says a fire was lit within you says it with the same tone as the one in the song. Anyway, thanks for the wonderful song Divide, thank you for a great year, and much love going into a new one.

I love how the lyrics change from victim struggling against the assailant to the victim rising up and possible turning the tides! From "Every time I try I get knocked down. Holy. Damn. I have a feeling Divide is from demon slayer, and is ability isnt the one that everyone wants, but its the one everyone loves. His voice is able to sooth even the saddest of human. His voice pierces through your heart and hits you where he wants, right where you feel love. Then you love the song. Its just how he rolls.

I've been wondering this for a long time. Does he actually have lightning powers or it is all just imagery that goes with his attacks? Same thing with Tanjiro with water and fire. The elements look so real, but they don't seem to affect their surroundings which has me thinking they're just there to make their attacks look cool.

You know sir thank you for this song. Around September of this year, i started my police academy training. I was scared and didn't know anyone in my class. I heard the rock version of this song and it inspired me so much that not only i was doing this for myself, I was doing it for my family, and for the people I love that was counting on me to protect them and the community. I pushed myself beyond my limit and made some good friends that were cheering me on throughout out the academy. When I graduated from the academy class, I got in my car and this song came out of nowhere, I sat in my car tearing up from listening to the words. I had a tough year but I'm ready for next year. And when I'm down and out, I'll always play this song to remember the tough times I had, and the friends who helped me make a difference with my self. So from me to you. Thank you for your music.
