In an post-apocalyptic futuristic haven known as New Eridu, entities known as Ethereal have travelled out into the human world from portals called Hollows. The Ethereal have wreaked havoc on most of humanity, wiping most of them out. However, a select group of survivors have formed a bastion against the invaders called New Eridu, having survived the oncoming onslaught by extracting the Ethereal's technology and resources~

In CN Fairy is also just called Fairy. If the AI is called “仙女” it would sound kinda embarrassing. Imagine Apple calling their AI “Aphrodite” instead of “Siri”. Somehow in English it sounds better…

ZZZ has definitely caught my interest in terms of lore. Unlike Genshin and HSR which really tends to inflate these quests with pointless unskippable content to progress the main lore, it feels like ZZZ is much more streamlined and really catered towards players who want a more straightforward yet interesting experience.
