Welcome to Zentangle Project Pack No. 10: Zentangle Legend.
Join Rick and Maria on this first day of the Zentangle Project Pack No. 10, the "Zentangle Legend."
Each of the lessons in this series builds off of each other and we suggest watching the Zentangle Project Pack No. 10 videos in order, beginning with the introduction.
This Zentangle Project Pack focuses on the legend of the Zentangle Legend. Its goal is to inspire you to create your own Legend . . . with all which that metaphor can imply.

It’s just virtually impossible to watch only once or to simply watch; I have to get my pen on paper…and then I go back and double check a shade of gray technique or enjoy a retelling of a naming story. These, like Rick’s, Maria’s and many other Zentangles are so rich and detailed-one look is just never enough. 💜📒🖊🌀🔳🥰

I got my package today.....SO EXCITED!! I just stumbled upon the whole tangling art a couple weeks ago. The first thing I did was watch as much as I could and just stuffed my head full. You guys are such a class act and BY FAR the best tanglers I've seen. I thought I had done it all, but this is new to me. I had never ever heard of it. I used to have a rubber stamp/scrap booking store. I sold a line of rubber stamps whose images were all tangles. They were very popular. Perhaps I can make my own tangle stamps now. Thank you so much for your amazing service. I can't believe how fast it came!

I love this tutorial. I have only been doing Zentangles for around a year now. I have a step out book but not a legend book. I wonder if there Is there a legend book to seperate them into different categories

I am a CZT from CZT20 and I’d love to see Maria do a lesson on how she gets the different weights of ink from the Micron 01. I’ve tried different pressure and an different angles,, but she does it so effortlessly and it make such a difference in the end drawing I’d love to learn her technique

Love these and have been doing zentangle for awhile...and I need to know how you draw a line so straight? My hand needs physical guidance as it's so shaky😮

Elizabeth, Like anything else it takes practice. It gets better each day, each tile, each line you draw. It’s why we call Zentangle a practice. The key is to enjoy the practice, like a baby learning to walk , he might fall in the beginning, but eventually, he stops falling. Anyway, I’m not a fan of perfectly straight lines. But I do love beautiful lines., lines with character.

Hi, I just sent you an email about this. I have the original Zentangle kit with the tiles, booklet, pens, and pencils, but the Legend was never included in the kit. I always wondered what the "legend" was about when I looked through my stuff, trying to locate all of them in the booklet. Is there a chance of getting this tile sent to me? The real paper one, not digital?

That alphabet page is superb, Maria! I have long ago notes about Scoodle and it's an S-shape with spirals on each end. How did it disappear? Baroque pearls!

I ordered the package. I see the many sided dice- what I didn’t see was the sheet of tangled it works with during the opening or any of the videos. Did I miss something?

It’s the booklet. Fill the pages along with us and then after by yourself and roll the die for the page then for the image. Have fun

It is too bad that the lady that took that picture didn't take a picture of the " mother" and then others who knew her could chime in and set it straight if they could. I agree that this could be SUMMER, I do not believe one word that comes out of DW mouth, I also think that they had numerous phones. Why did 14 odd people show up at his house?? That whole story is creepy, if I was at home alone with my children and my husband was away there would be no way in hell that they would be coming into my house. Maybe they were using the shed on the lower part of the property to exchange kids. who knows!!

You said in the intro you're starting with "crescent moon" and within the next breath began drawing what you call lady bugs. At 2:45 minutes in, I gave up watching because it became too confusing what was really required...crescent moons or lady bugs??
