I really spoil my family with homemade zeppelin several times a year 😊.
It's really easy to make, you just need to allocate more time 😉. But it's really worth it, because you can't buy the ones you make at home anywhere!
So, maybe on a weekend you will be tempted to make zeppelins at home?
You will need (15 large zeppelins):
~5kg of potatoes (I bought the "Vineta" variety)
500g of boiled potatoes
Salt (~1.5 tsp)
A straining bag such as cheesecloth or a potato grater
For the filling:
~800g of minced meat (beef + pork)
Onion
3 cloves of garlic
Salts
Pepper
For the sauce:
300g of onions
200g of hot smoked bacon
Oil
Sour cream
