Very nicely done mate 👍🏽 Zero clearance plate make life so much easier at times, always good to have one or more on hand when needed.👌🏽 I've seen some guys make spare splitters out of old saw blades.
Hello beautiful Earthling. Thank you for your patronage of my video. And thank you for your sincere and wonderful comments. Friendship from Japan...Tachi

Hello Mariano I met you again. The cause of the vibration of the saw blade was the wrong ring for changing the inner diameter! Thank you for coming See you

Abraço aqui do Brasil 🇧🇷
Obrigada
You did it! I was sure of that. This is one of the first empowerments to do for your table saw. A very fine work. Waiting for next...curiously. Have a good day, friend.
Hello,Giuseppe Thank you so much for supporting my video And thanks for the wonderful comment This plate created strength first, Next, we will repair a large sled. Perhaps! Thank you See you
Hello,Willy Thank you for watching my video I replaced it with a Makita blade and at the time I installed the change ring by mistake! ! I understand the cause, so there is no problem. Thank you for your kind comments
@@TachiOhyo56 *Makitas* honor has been reestablished. ;-) That looked very scary. By the way - I'm about to build your 45°/90° quick jig for my DeWalt 7485. I laminated two pieces of plywood together, but I'm afraid that was just a little over the top. My rough board is now 2,33 inches [6 cm]. Well - wish me luck, Tachi.
210. which machine model? You put in disc 216. I have a DeWALT 7485? but disk 210.
Hello,Fredrik Thank you for always watching my video And thank you for your nice comment. From now on, safety is increased by one. safety first! Thank you
Thank you for this, now I need to go make some for my own swirly blade of death !!! I've been meaning to do this for some time so I think this will be my next project. I've got a Ryobi however that's simply a pain in the behind to do anything with lol.
Hello, Thank you so much for supporting my video And always thank you for your wonderful comments. It is very convenient because I often cut thin parts I am solving my trivial problems little by little and preparing my woodworking environment. Thank you
Hi John Thank you for watching my video The reason is that the original insert has a large gap and is not tight! I took a pattern with a pencil and scraped the outside of the pencil mark. Thank you for your comment See you
@@TachiOhyo56 Makes perfect sense...very nice job on the insert as well as some of your other videos. I just discovered your channel this morning. cheers...
Hello Andriesse Thank you for coming to my workshop My impression is that hard oak wood is suitable. There is no problem with each material, but my concern is the deflection of the board! A structure that does not move due to pressure from above is required. Thank you very much
Hello, tionolo Thank you for always watching my video The first requirement of this project is material strength! And some structure and challenges remained. Thank you for your nice comment See you
Hello, Jimmy Thank you for coming to my workshop DeWalt is not the only one that does not have a zero clearance insert as standard equipment. The reason is to reduce the cost by using both 90 degrees and 45 degrees! That's why many people make homemade zero clearance inserts. Thank you See you
Hello,Cahit Thank you for always watching I removed the standard blade and put on another manufacturer's blade, it didn't look right! ! It turned out in a subsequent check. Thank you for watching over me
Hello,Tim Thank you for always watching my video And thank you for your comment In my country, Japan, there are no restrictions. Very convenient. Thank you See you
Hello,Pascal Thank you for always watching my video The reason why I made it with 3 kinds of materials is the strength, it takes a great deal of force when cutting! And as you said, I was aware of the diameter of the blade. Thank you
Ciao, fabrizio Grazie per aver sempre supportato il mio video E grazie per i tuoi gentili commenti Stiamo risolvendo piccoli problemi a poco a poco Grazie a te

zero clearance insert + rithing knife! What happened to the gray PVC zci? Did it get painted DeWalt yellow?! Excellent as always; a true Woodworking Sensei!
Hello,Ralph Thank you for always watching my video And thanks for the wonderful comment I also liked the gray PVC beautifully, I painted it in yellow and regretted it! Thank you

Hello Ohyo, you did a great job!!! Just a simple question: how did you fix the locking system? I didn't see any, in your pieces. Thanks for your inspiration!
Hello,Francesco Thank you for always watching my video And thanks for the nice comment At first, I planned to make the protrusions the same as the original, but I abandoned, I plan to attach two horns with nails or screws in the near future. Thank you See you

I have a Dewalt DW745 (Type 4) myself. I wanted to make sure the insert wouldn't move under use, so I secured the back with a small piece of flat bar (repurposed piece of the bar of a quick clamp that the handle broke off of). On the front, where it is normally locked, I drilled and tapped an M4 threaded hole in the support /locking tap for a countersunk screw. It is still a work in progress though. As imperial dimensions are a bit hard to come by here in Denmark, the insert was made from 12mm formwork plywood with small patches of duct tape as spacers. Next on my list is to make threaded holes for M5 set screws and somehow secure the locking screw with a clip, as the only thing holding it in the insert when not in use, is the patches of tape on the bottom. What model is your saw? It looks like a DW745, but the blade size don't add up. It usually uses 10"/254mm blades. Oh, and what made you swap the Makita for the Dewalt?
Hello Henrik san Thank you for your polite comments. My Dewalt is DW745, the reason I abandoned Makita is that the blade is not parallel to the fence, and it's very difficult to adjust. You can't make a zero clearance plate. The top plate of the table is not flat. After changing to DewaltDW745, my woodworking has become a lot of fun, it meets my needs, my favorite.
@@TachiOhyo56 It sure is a good little saw. I originally looked at a Bosch GTS 635-216 myself when it was on sale, but after seeing it "in the flesh", I found the fence rails way too flimsy. The rack-and-pinion rails of the Dewalt combined with 250W extra made the choise obvious. :)
