I don`t own this. Zero Dark Thirty (2012) - Killing Bin Laden (Romanian subtitle) US Navy SEALs (backed by the CIA) killing Bin Laden in his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan during Operation Neptune`s Spear - May 2, 2011.
They should make this a special mission where you have to complete the campaign on hardened or Veteran and the mission is on veteran difficulty. That would be an ultra rare trophy.
I've taken a few trips to Iraq and seen my fair share. That silence though... I have NEVER been in a situation where I had to be that quiet. That was intense.
Kieran Oberhansli everyone is different not every single person that joins the army or marine or so and so get PTSD it depends on the person and what they see
The CIA actually released files from his computers and harddrives and there actually was a few hentai images on there lol. You can find them on the CIA website.
Hearing that SEAL whisper "Osama" from the darkness is perhaps the second greatest moment in American History, followed by the greatest only a second or two later.
Yeah let’s forget the American Revolutionary War, Independence Day, The Constitution, abolishment of slavery, Wild West, D-Day, and many more. There isn’t a definitive greatest or second greatest moment in American history.
Everyone wears a mask no, greatest was the Moon Landing. This is...somewhere in the top twenty. I’m pretty sure there’s at least one greater moment involving the Soviets, and one involving baseball.
I love how the seals call out to the occupants with an Arab accent. It’s pitch dark and they’re the only ones with night vision. They’re tricking the terrorists to come out by making it seem like they’re one of their own people.
I remember Obama saying this was a "capture or kill" operation. I remember thinking "yeah right... you don't send SEAL Team 6 to capture someone. You send them to kill!"
Of course they tried to capture him, but the reality is that it's extremely hard to pull off when there might be explosive vests and whatnot involved, and decicions have to be made in split seconds. I remember the guy who shot him saying something like Osama had his wife in front of him, and he couldn't see if they had vests or if there was a weapon behind her, so he shot Osama in the face.
Taz Shadewind Loving your country is fine, but being ignorant about the state of it isn't. I love my country but its no where near what is should and could be.
Ältester von Zion idk who you are or where you’re from, but that man they killed was guilty of killing thousands of innocent Americans so justice was served
ben ladin was trained by CIA back in the 80s to fight USSR. btw, we all know it's mossad who did the world trade center/Pandagon job. but anyway, we gonna get 4000 more soldiers killed in the next 15 years of war on terrorism and having 22 veteran to kill themselves everyday.
My favourite part about this segment of the movie is how close it is to the book “No Easy Day” and how they didn’t put in any cheesy music. They just let the scene itself create all the tension, which in my opinion is perfect.
@Junior Altamont Ent. That was the point. They used the comparison between Geronimo and Bin Laden. Though some people were offended and said Geronimo does not deserve being seen as despicable as Bin Laden. And the Bin Laden family is a well knowmm rich family, employing a lot of construction companies. Similar to the TRUMP family in many ways
@@dillanmcchicken4452 he comes from the top 5 richest families in saudi arabia hes not just rich he has untold wealth that will keep his family rich forever.
Watching this after reading "No easy Day" the book came out around the same time as the movie here and the amount of details this movie has that were spot on to how the SEAL who wrote the book is amazing. All the way down to how the citizens came out and the translator yelled at them. Or how the SEALs give a pat on the back before they move into a room.
@@axel1022_ ok so Al-Quatala from from Modern warfare is infinity wards take on Al-Qaeda although the missions are different, also "The Wolf" is infinity wards character inspired by Osama bin laden
A Seal must learn how to speak Northern Korean, get plastic surgery and look Northern Korean, get inside North Korea, become 1 of them, then nuke that place down. Even if he's in it.
It's funny how the Pakistani people listen to Americans but not their own government, hence as the SEALs were translating in Pakistani they just ignored the warning, but when they spoke in english they knew to listen. That's how powerful the United States is apparently.
Can you imagine being in one of these operators boots going from room to room, peeking around corner to corner not knowing what’s gonna come at you while hunting the most wanted terrorist on the planet? The pucker factor had to have been through the stratosphere.
The raid scene was legit great, the rest of the movie was artistically forgettable and what's worst, completely inaccurate, depicting torture as the primary mean through which Bin Laden was located. It has a dull protagonist, dull side character, unimaginative cinematography, boring dialogues and it makes the plot hard to follow. It's a good flick that portrays sufficiently well a historical event, but not a cinematic masterpiece.
Man I wanna be in the army so bad this movie inspires me so much and my brother was in the USMC which inspired me even more but sadly last year. I found out I had osteoporosis and I’m disqualified from any branch of service but I find out in another year if all my bone disabilities will be lifted or not. Lads please I beg of you pray for me.
I don't know why thats so unbelievable, it's not like they don't have a reputation for crashing helicopters, they even crashed one in the process of raiding this compound.
They say that this is exactly how it went down too. I remember watching this not knowing anything about it and thinking the heli crash scene was just for the movie.
Calling out Osama never happened. Point man just fired as soon as some head popped out from the corner Calling out was made so audience would know that it´s Osama
Unfortunately That is exactly what most Americans want for their own country. Socialism is cancer of the earth but the domocratic party of the US is pushing hard for it....
May 13, 2011 - “It is revealed that a large amount of pornography was seized from the Abbottabad compound during the raid. It is unclear to whom it belonged.” Lol
Hollywood would have this as a shoot 'em up. In reality a lot of thought and analysis goes into this raid. One of the reasons it was conducted was to minimize civilian casualties. They also needed visual proof that Osama Bin Ladin was at the compound and to make sure he doesn't get out alive. SEAL Team 6, which is the elite team of the already elite Navy SEALs were picked especially for this reason. They wanted to keep the margin of error to a minimum. They also gathered up a lot of intel that would have been destroyed in a blast. Another elite team Delta has been tasked to kill top ISIS leaders. I am sure Baghdadi will be a target for SEAL Team 6 if not Delta.
U.s. special forces are a fucking joke. didn't they crash a fucking chopper during this raid? it was a fucking disaster lol. can't even fly a goddamn helicopter right.
Admin Acct they where stealth black hawks that had never been tested, until the night of the raid, one of them had a malfunction and crashed, and it wasn’t just seal team six involved, JSOC ( Joint Special Operations Command ) consisting of Delta Force, Seal Team Six, Rangers, MARSOC, and many more.
