tbf Hades 2 wasn't unexpected, Supergiant was pretty clear about it entering early access around now and were increasingly vocal starting with the closed playtest a few weeks ago

As a AAA game dev, listening to their remarks on the games industry and gaming trends at the start was really interesting. I found myself agreeing with a lot of their views. I'd love to sit down with these guys and talk games and industry. Great podcast as always!

Bog devs are not struggling. They are all making huge profits, but trying to squeeze even more profits at the expense of their workers and player experience. All of the layoffs and what not are corporate greed and not because they are losing money.
