For the last few months, I have been buzzing my hair to #3 but the hair grew back too quickly and it looked messy, visible bald spots, etc. I've never had the courage to do a zero buzz cut until yesterday when I came across your channel and you hyped me up for it. Now my hair looks beautiful and sexy, and much cleaner than before. I can't wait to do it again in 2 weeks or so. Thanks Nick!
You look great bearded. Also for a man - you have very expressive and kindhearted eyes. Don't know if you have heard that before. Hope this is not taken the wrong way.
It's the best feeling in the world to just shave off long, shaggy, unkept hair! That's why i just like growing my hair out for fun so i can have more fun when i buzz it off!
You look great Nick! I'm 26 and a Norwood 2 (atleast I think) with thinning in the front. This gives me more confidence about the future! I'm also one of the men that can grow a full beard.
You truly are a living legend for motivating people to shave their heads 👏👏!! i have been thinking about it too and you give me the courage to do so.... most probably I'll be shaving my head after i grow it out one last time (the Yeager style)!!
Wow. I forgot just how masculine you look with a bald head. Or maybe the added beard length enhances it more than ever. You are now a 10+ my good friend. Personally, I think the cheek hair enhances the look because a lot of men cannot grow hair that high up.
@@NickShellVideos Good looking dude, Nick! You are willing to take risks. In fact, you inspired me to shave my head totally bald last year. I enjoyed the experience. Thank you for encouraging many to take the risk(s).
Thanks for doing this Nick! You are an inspiration! I shaved my full head of hair to become "bald by choice" ("BBC") over ten years ago, when I was about 60 years old. After about four months, I decided to grow it back. I lasted about a month before I shaved it all off again and have not even considered growing it again. I think that, like you and in my opinion, like ME!, most men look great with a bald head. Mine is now getting thinner in the front and at the crown, but generally I think it would still be a respectable head of hair. But I am really happy not to have it and wish it would all fall out so I wouldn't have to shave it. I also think most men are better looking with a beard. The original motivation I had to shave mine all off was that I wanted to tattoo my scalp. And I did it. I don't care what anyone else thinks about my bald head or my beard or my tattoos (and never did)! I remember as a kid my dad had a really good friend who was mostly bald. I though it looked like hell. But he had really thin hair all over the place, creating IMO a really unfortunate look. I asked him what he thought about getting bald. He said he wished it would all fall out. I always remembered that. He was a smart man. Too bad in those days (1960s) no one I ever knew shaved their heads. We are fortunate today that it is not just widely accepted, but largely preferred to the dreaded (and dreadful) comb-over! No man should spend time worrying about how he will look without his hair. Just shave that shit off! You will look great!!
I remember in my early 20s when i used to mess about brushing my hair for hours before i went out trying to hide my bald patch then I got to 30 and thought enough is enough. Bought some clippers and went straight over the top of my head. No turning back and it was liberating I loved it. Luckily the shape of my head suited the new shaved look and I haven’t looked back since. I’m now 55 and am happy to have the same clean look as some A list celebrities. No more faffing about, 10 minutes I’m showered suited and booted ready to go.
Just stumbled upon your channel looking for reviews on this product and wow, don't take it the wrong way, but loose the hair, you look so much younger and sexier with the bold with beard look. #subscribed
Kudos to you bro! Excellent video, Love the idea and the motive as well... I took the plunge abt a year and a half ago now, kind of happened by accident, which is a whole other conversation but lol , but I'm so grateful I took that step now. 😉 God bless you brother, and every1 watching, or reading... 👍🙂
You were completely right. Your videos do in fact give us courage to pull this off. All I'm waiting for is to get my new hair clippers and i will go for it. 👍🏻
@@NickShellVideos thank you man. You've helped me a lot with every video I've watched. I'm planning on going with 0 guard. It's exciting to know that i will be able to get a haircut at home for free 👍🏻
@@NickShellVideos turns out i tried it yesterday. I had a full head of hair, i gathered the courage and went for it. it doesn't look bad, but i do say i actually regret it😅 EDIT: Although i didn't like being bald, i actually don't regret going for it. After 2 weeks of hair growth i finally know that i like buzzcuts and will keep getting a 2 guard buzzcut.
@@Dan-hd8ud "Fetish" might be a strong word, but it's a look I find very appealing. How about you? If not a fetish, you certainly are obsessed with hair and haircuts.
@@rjcarter2904 in fact i am a teenager who wants to start cutting hair and i find that watching hair videos will be my source of inspiration as well as motivation
It looks great. A nice stubbly head you have now. That is not the same as a bald head though - given you still have most of your hair, so I never quite get why some people call a shaven head a bald head.
Hey Nick it's me again, I really love getting my hair cut and I love getting it cut off, I love the feeling of the clippers going across my scalp and the sound of them as they are cutting the hair.
I don't often shave my head, though it's always worth considering in the winter. I need to wear some sort of cap to cover my head from low temperatures, and my hair is a bit more on the oily side. Might be worth to shave it, I need to wear a cap anyway and now I don't have to worry about hair looking bad.
Nick This is an awesome video . I shaved my head in 2012 . It looks good but I never tried the stubble look . I tried it today used a zero on my beard trimmer and it really looks good . I can’t find the follow up video you did for the beard trim . I’m growing a beard now I’m older so it’s gonna be gray . I think the stubble 2or 3 might work for me
You're right about the Remmington, it's called the Quick Cut, in the UK. You're also right about the "masculine" look. I started having my hair "buzzed" decades ago. The beard, in more recent years. But, I love the look! A lot of gay guys like and go for that look! 😉😉
Not bad at all. I know you did a zero guard here, but later did a 1 guard. I'd say you still have decent hair coverage that you could rock a Jude Law type style. Interestingly enough, with a buzzcut, you look like you have a full head of hair (meaning all the follicles are in place, atleast with 1 guard).
Are you still doing any hair experiments? Can I suggest putting about 2 drops peppermint oil to rub between palms and massage into wet/towel dried hair after you shampooed and conditioned for about 3min. The wet hair dilutes the peppermint oil negating the need of a carrier oil. And it actually works, I have no more dandruff anymore and less hair loss. Btw what I love about this method is that my hair is not oily, the oil just adds the right amount of moisture and makes hair look healthy and shiny.
Don't worry. Just do it. I also felt nervous but done it. It's a great feeling and you will look cool. This is a great product and simple to use. The only problem is, hair grows back too quickly.
Congratulations ! Now, shave your head daily with a blade razor. Your full beard is very nice but you can also play with various types of beards and goatees, whether you want to display around or long face. You also are handsome enough to afford both very short and very long beards. Have fun with it !
I strongly disagree, from my POV having a full head of hair (and maybe the beard) makes the face the most masculine possible but I respect your views too. I shave my head sometimes aswell (every 2 years then growing it out) but at the same time I'm fighting against hair loss (still norwood 1 so doin great) because if i am being honest, being bald doesn't match with my identity, it is not who i am and i am doing something about it.
Nick Shell you’re lucky that you have a good head shape and it does suit you and as someone who also sporadically shaved his head ,, the only down side is the growing out phase
I have a question and it would be great if you reply: I am 15 and I have a big hairline and a small widow's peak, Am I gonna go bald? Btw my dad and grandpa also have a big hairline and have lost hair on the sides but are not bald. I do not have a hairfall problem also, what can I do to prevent it from receding more in the coming years. 🙏plz reply ❤️
Sudarshan Phatake hey man I have be same problem but have the hair fall sometimes but has gotten less after the couple of days. I’m 15 in a couple weeks my hairline isn’t bad but just looks horrible how I can see it thinning :(
This guy can't just shave it. He has to ramble on for three minutes before he even starts then he has to stop every few minutes to flap his gams. Just watch someone else so you don't get frustrated.
Hi there Nick, I know that you are married, I have had comments on my phone that tell me to stop texting my husband I am not sure who it is but you are so damn cute. I would really love to have you come over to my place and give me a haircut sometime.
You look cool with the beard. Nifty. Can’t understand why a good looking guy such as you, agonize over your hair. I commend you for experimenting with multiple styles but you get dissatisfied and give them up.
