It's sad that they did not finish Generals 2. There was Act of Aggression which could have been a good remaster edition of this old game. Unfortunately it didn't turn out to be that good.

If they made remasters of red alert 2, generals, and renegade, EVERY SINGLE COMMAND AND CONQUER FAN WOULD BE HAPPY.

Well, most of the time he actually doesn't, even against 7 hard armies. You can see this i many of his videos, almost all GLA and China vids (For instance: Stealth GLA vs 7 Hard armies subscriber special.)) This is because one has to rely mainly on troops for a succesful match against 7 hard armies, as a collaboral attack from all of those, with a constant stream of supplies which far outnumbers yours will eventually push through anyhow. So, troops it is. Tactical advantage making etc.

Probably the hardest challenge in skirmish on Command & Conquer : Generals - Zero Hour is to play with China Infantry ( General Fai ) against 7 hard GLA Toxic ( Doctor Trax ) , even on Death Valley , which is map where player have higher chances because of big amount of supplies near base , and than try to win that game without " Fortified Bunker " and " Gattling Cannon " , almost impossible .

@@nordzlopez3239Because in almost all cases, it's better to use those resources to build active units that can attack and defend. Being aggressive is the best way to stop your enemy before he can even get to your base, and it keeps your enemies from expanding. Personally, I am a slow, lazy player, and I've never learned to be quick and aggressive, so I tend to build a lot of base defense, but this is a very poor way to play.

Laser General probably is the most insanely powerful General to use when camping. Several shots and the enemy tank, even the Overlord, enemy down.

Yes its the ultimate for turtle gameplay. It makes the superweapon general look like a pussy. Infantry general is also very good with the fortified bunkers that house 10 infantry but it requres a little more time and effort to build ur defense up

thank you very much ! I find it boring to watch someone bunker himself in. More Action = more fun to watch. Also superweapons are boring to watch, too. That's why I almost never build them, even if it costs me the game in the end or drags the game on for 40 more minutes

thanks. I also see many players playing very slow because they dont use the right mouseclick scroll funktion. They would be much faster with that. Also hotkeys give such an advantage and they are very easy to learn

Core2due CPU s dont crush on game

Game speed. Everyone tries to play the game at max game speed which kills the game speed barely 5-10 mins into a skirmish. Reduce the game speed to 1/2 and enjoy a smoother rate throught your whole play session. besides, you can make better choices and give more commands to your troops. The game clock slows down as well.

I am playing this game for 15 years. It well works with Core 2 due CPU s. Do not run it on i3. i5 or i7

I use process explorer (sysinternals.com) to set the game's process affinity to a single CPU core. Anecdotally it seems to help prevent crashes, but some combinations of enemies just cause crashes (eg. I'd love to have superweapon vs 7 infantries, but that's a recipe for a crash in the first 20 minutes).
