I’m Ariel Galdames, better known as Frozenith, and I hope you are enjoying Zero Memories! I just want to tell you a little more about our project, our love letter to the Mega Man Zero series. I make music as a hobby since approximately 2008, and I always wanted to grow professionally and have my own sound style, but my real commitment to that dream was a couple of years later: with this project. When I was already determined to achieve it, life itself started to place its obstacles: time, studies, work, and the mistakes that one makes. For this reason, since we started in 2015, one of my objectives was to achieve the sound that I always dreamed of, to be able to deliver the best possible work, and to be at the level of the official Mega Man albums, specifically my favorite album of the franchise: REMASTERED TRACKS ROCKMAN ZERO Mythos, made by III and released on June 10, 2010 (exactly 13 years before ZERO MEMORIES). The road had big pauses, but the advances were even bigger, and I feel that it was worth every minute that the project was delayed. I did many versions of the songs and Blopa did many versions of the illustrations, each of them progressed little by little, and all of that is reflected in this project. Today we can say that we have finally accomplished everything we set out to do in those days. And I’m very proud of our progress as artists and for our friendship! There's literally someone making a fan game for it too. While I never played it, having seen Zero when someone played a megaman game(idk which game), he became my favorite. In 5th grade, my oc's netnavi originated as the zero robot. (I knew none of the original megaman lore then)
This is... this is some of the best Mega Man Zero music I've ever heard. What a beautifully faithful collection of remixes! Each track near-perfectly captures the story attached to each original song, and really makes you *feel* like you're Zero. Excellent job, all of you! you've far outdone yourselves on this!
thanks a lot Stardust!! yes, as a loyal fan of the Zero series, I wanted to capture the feelings of each original song and the moment each plays. But not in all cases was like that, for example in the song "Ciel's Lab (2023)" it was really made that way in order to have a energetic song more than a slow laboratory sound xD

I decided to beat the whole Z/ZX Legacy Collection (A Rank or higher/Level 4 and Medals) before listening to this because I knew it would be hype and you didn't disappoint.

Qué buenos recuerdos me ha traído tu música, Departure 9:18 esta increíble, Holi Land 41:34 me recordó a mi vieja casita de cuando ere niño y Falling Down 52:58 wow esta espectacular se siente en el alma esa épica lucha final entre el bien y el mal, joder hermano gracias, tienes un talento unico y especial, me has hecho recordar esa sencillez y felicidad que no sentía desde que era un niño. WOOO es un trabajo demasiado impresionante!!! Soy fanático de las sagas de Megaman desde que era niño, y llevo unos años siguiéndote por tus temas al igual que sigo a Blopa por sus dibujos, cuando me entere de que ambos estaban haciendo este álbum fue una sorpresa muy emocionante Como fan de la saga ver este tipo de proyectos es un deleite, casi no se ven cosas así y dan la esperanza de que estos juegos no mueran en el olvido :'D Ya he escuchado el álbum un buen par de veces y creo que su punto más fuerte y emocional está en los temas finales, desde Esperanto hasta Ciel d´aube, prácticamente en esa parte ya estaba llorando jaja; la inclusión de las voces al japonés fue muy creativo y pega fuerte para los que vivieron esa escena! No soy experto en hacer música, pero como opinión propia creo que quizás sería interesante ver más "potencia", por así decir, en la percusión en temas como Cannon Ball y Falling Down, aún así no estoy desmeritando tu trabajo, es realmente impresionante y digno de admirar! Quisiera hablar más del arte pero aun no compro el artbook jaja, sin embargo, ya conozco el estilo del artista Blopa y la evolución en sus dibujos es magnifica, me encanta como maneja los colores llevándolos a un aspecto más opacado pero llamativo que hace recordar a como era el ambiente en los stages de la saga Zero (o al menos eso me hizo sentir a mi), además de lo bien que se maneja con la anatomía de los personajes pues pocas veces veo fanarts realmente profesionales e impresionantes que dejen una marca del estilo del artista, me parece que es difícil dibujar los cascos y combinarlos con las caras, o al menos a mi me cuesta bastante jaja En resumen este tributo es los mejores trabajos que he visto, definitivamente compraré el artbook en su debido momento y veré como apoyarte como músico porque necesitas más reconocimiento! muchas gracias por hacer este álbum!!!

Al contrario, gracias a ustedes por crear tal proyecto!! gracias además por decirle a Blopa también, me gusta conversar sobre las ilustraciones jaja ciertamente! creo que lo mejor de una canción es cuando la escuchas atentamente y empiezas a notar los demás instrumentos y detalles que en un inicio no te diste cuenta, es como la recompensa por volver a oír dicho tema Sobre como mejorar, por supuesto! espero explicarme bien porque en cuanto a teoría musical no se nada, así que pido disculpas por adelantado xD estuve escuchando ambos temas, tanto tu versión, como las originales y las versiones mythos para más o menos comparar Comenzando con Cannon Ball, mi favorita era la versión mythos, pero ahora escuchando atentamente creo que tu versión la supera por mucho! sin embargo, es justo al inicio donde creo que falta más potencia, con esto me refiero a que quizás cuando la batería entra al comienzo podría ser más "explosiva" en el sentido de que los platillos puedan sonar mas fuertes, la caja y el bombo están bien y de hecho me gusta lo limpios que suenan! pero sería solamente los platillos que su golpe suene mas fuerte para que se hagan notar como para dar a entender que esta por comenzar la pelea contra Omega Zero mientras siguen cayendo los restos del robot gigante de su primera fase. De igual forma es solo una pequeña sugerencia jaja Con Falling Down es más o menos parecido, de hecho comparándolo con la versión original y mythos, estas dos tienen algo que al comenzar suenan potente, como un golpe por así decir, algo que te indica que comienza la batalla final, sin embargo, como que van bajando su potencia a medida que avanzan. En tu tema, es al revés, el sonido del sintetizador que suena al iniciar es un poco débil y la batería también, supongo que subiéndoles el volumen podría funcionar, pienso que si la canción comenzara fuerte como si fuese un impacto quedaría genial para luego detenerse en el momento que comienza el dialogo de Zero, y luego seguir con esa potencia el resto de la canción, que por cierto, ya se que lo dije arriba, pero me encanta como añadiste las voces japonesas!! el grito de Ciel es algo que me sigue pegando fuerte hasta el día de hoy... Eso es más o menos lo poco que criticaría, pero reitero que no se casi nada de teoría musical, yo soy más del dibujo xD puede que al final mis sugerencias estén erradas, pero espero puedan ayudarte!! Por cierto, solo por curiosidad, tienes planeado otro proyecto a futuro?

Super happy to have stumbled across this randomly, amazing! Holy land kind of gave me ‘Hidden Land’ from Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of sky vibes in the beginning, and that game’s soundtrack is filled with bangers so that’s definitely a compliment. Still need to play the whole Zero series, only beat 1, but this just gave me an extra reason to get to that soon!

This has gotta be the best thing I've ever randomly been recommended by the will of the algorithm. I've felt like the Zero series needed some fresh new remixes for a long time now, and this is everything I always wished for. Absolute chills from Falling Down, and the rest is just as phenomenal. Half of these tracks I didn't even like the originals of, but I'm loving here.
I wish I was there too, my god this album is so good, I only recently played the zero and zx series for the first time on the legacy collection, my god they are great games, I was so used to the old games at first my mind wasn’t 100 percent in on the series but after completing holy shit, this is great and this album, feels too the max!!!

In Zero's defense, his original purpose was destruction(why he's called a God of Destruction) and spreading the Maverick virus. The fact and he can turn his life around is such a positive manner and find a new purpose in life is what makes him so much more endearing than X to me imo. My personal GOAT.

The way Falling Down and Ciel d'aube synchronized so well that I didn't even realize it's a separate song that's playing. Cool. No doubt MMZ got some of the best soundtrack I've heard.

This whole project is absolutely phenomenal! These are seriously some of the best video game remixes and video game artwork I've seen before. I only recently discovered this channel, but I bought the album on your Bandcamp page yesterday because I simply have so much respect for you and Blopa after how much hard work you both have put into this love letter to the Mega Man Zero series. It's really inspiring to see how much passion, time, and effort went into this project, especially considering how - with all due respect - you have such a small audience online. It really shows how much you and Blopa care about this series, and I and many other fans of the whole Mega Man franchise are immensely grateful for the work of you both!

I had decided about a week ago to go and play the Megaman Zero saga because I LOVED the visual design of the games, the aesthetic and the look of the gameplay. I heard so many great things, and before i watched this for the first time I finally beat the first game. I'm so excited to join the Megaman fans and start my own journey through this series. This album only cements the fact that Megaman fans love their game so much, and makes me want to join the community even more. I've always passingly played the Megaman games, but now I'm dedicated to playing as many of them as I can. Not just the Zero/ZX saga, but also Battle network, X, and even the base titles. I want to see everything this series has to offer, and I hope that every time I come back to this video it'll be with more Megaman memories and a better perspective on this series that so many people have grown up with and loved throughout their lives. I really hope that you can feel proud for this phenomenal music because you deserve so much respect. I hope this album goes on to change more peoples lives for the better, and helps to show that Megaman is a franchise that is deeply loved by so many people.

Wow man. What a great album. For me what stood out was what you did to Area of Zero, Ciel's lab, and Holy Land. Such beautiful and unique takes on those tracks. Never would I ever have thought I'd say Ciel's Lab is a banger but today is that day. And man the instrumentation of Holy Land was just perfect. Hard to top your version of these songs. And I love how you added some Awakening Will at the end of Departure. And a nice cinematic touch at the end and Zero Suite was a fantastic arrangement. I really appreciate you doing a Nothing Beats Cover as well because I find that to be my favorite, and the best normal boss song from the Zero series but it gets overlooked. And the illustrations are ridiculously great of course. If I was told that was official anniversary art or something I would believe you. What a talented artist on your team. Keep on keepin on man. As a side note, I hope to one day hear your take on Supreme Ruler (Elpizo's boss theme)!

Me alegra haber encontrado hace poco ese remix del tema de Schala, y que ese pequeño (y a la vez gran) hallazgo me haya traído hasta acá a tiempo para el lanzamiento de este tributo a una de mis sagas favoritas. Quería estar en el estreno pero no pude.... apenas me lo estoy viendo *suena el inicio de Esperanto* NOOOOOOO PROMISE NEXT NEW WORLD/Freesia Casi me pongo a llorar x'D por cierto, 10000/10 el album, lo super amé y me trajo muchísimos recuerdos de la infancia
Bueno, a decir verdad creo que no podría elegir alguna en especial, todas son geniales y más de una hace que se me ponga la piel de gallina! Pero creo que la que podría elegir por encima de las demás sería Straight Ahead por la conexión que tengo con esta melodía en especial (la verdad casi todas las del Zero 4 me gustan pero Straight Ahead tiene ligero más impacto en mi, solo un poco arriba de Esperanto honestamente) pero hablando en general todas las canciones del álbum son excelentes! No soy capaz de saltar absolutamente ninguna de ellas, y los Interlude son UFFFFFFF tremendas joyas! La verdad siento que llegué en muy buen momento al fandom de Megaman otra vez, sino me habría perdido tremenda joya como lo es este álbum
