Southern is just on a different level. Alcorn be trying tho, but their sound is no match from what the Jukes putting out. Clean, balanced, crispness with warm aggressive power.

Damien Stewart well bands always sound better in person than they do on camera. But a Band’s goal is to sound good no matter what or from what angle 🤷‍♂️ I understand your point tho

Zero Quarter was kind-of boring I found Alcorn's dancers to be full of energy throughout. Southern's dancers for me were boring with no energy other than the one leg up thing that stood out...Southern had a more balanced sound in my opinion they both had their moments. I don't like southern's version of Neck has a Jazz flavor to it kind-of takes energy out of the song if you ask me.

@@swordhammer9535 let's be honest u but hurt over this ass whipping southern put on alcorn Saturday that's why u bringing up the first battle like i said southern song selection what in the 5 quarter kill them but they still sounded good alcorn had great song selection in the 5q but lets be real alcorn wasn't clean with some songs but to me i liked the songs choice alcorn had in the 5 quarter Saturday showed that alcorn is no match for southern. Southern songs selection was on point clean and crispy sound alcorn sound was like a high school band true facts

tammy craft Tbh I love JSU and Southern all day. Mad? Naw. I'm technically responding to your response about song selections. It's facts Alcorn had alot of newer songs (sloppy but loud). And I agree SU was clean and always has but the selections just were old for the most part. SU had a rough start if u admit it or not (maybe due to the band politics.. hint lol). Alcorn caught them sleeping earlier but everybody see the Box is back on.

We was all on alcorn side chatting it up and alumni’s was pissed that they couldn’t have that power like southern got.. lol southern trumpets was louder than the Corns trumpets and mellos put together 🤦🏾‍♂️ that’s bad
