Yeah, in hind sight I had enough cash from selling the other dinos to set up the Dracorex in that exhibit, but wasn't sure how much it was going to take to get to the break even point and I think we made decent use of the space with park infrastructure and amenities. This scenario definitely allows you the most opportunity to be creative with how you start and I love that because everywhere else you just build Stuthiomimus and then look for another herbivore to cohabitate.

why does no one think to move the entrance location, its like 33k if I remember right, it alllows you to start in the best possible location and not have to build all this extra stuff which costs a lot of money. I've never seen anyone do that before, it pains me to see everyone put down multiple backup generators and shelters and stuff and build long expensive paths or deal with bad areas of the map to start in.

I've always imagined when you release direct control of a vehicle that the driver/pilot is like, huh? why am I way out here? Having no memory of of what you just did or who you are and silently but quickly goes back to where they were hoping no one noticed their strange absence.

@@junehanabi1756 haha you're all over the place here. It's also better to destroy and replace damaged fences to prevent dino break outs because it's way faster than having your ranger teams come by. I don't do that because it discards the gameplay system of having the rangers fix things and I don't want people to think they have to do that kind of thing to beat the challenges. Not sure why you're going on about how it's better to move the hatchery because that's what I do. Destroying and rebuilding generators only looks cheaper because they start with 100 fuel so their construction cost is the same price as refueling. The only money you save is the 10K for recycling. To that same point building multiple back up generators if you use the fuel is not less efficient than building 1. Moving the starting location is a fun trick and one I might have benefitted from in some of the other challenges but if you watch to the end of this one we establish one of the tightest 5 star parks you can and the original starting position works just fine for this. I like to think the normal driver is there wincing the whole time I'm in direct control because they've seen/ heard about Jurassic World where the park owner got everyone in his helicopter killed. Then they are just relieved when I vanish to my next task.

Now just imagine me doing this on release, seeing no tutorials and so this series was born and hours and hours of my life traded away.

@@TeddyNinja Yeah these challenges take a while to complete. Especially if you keep failing and having to restart over and over again.

I could have tried to keep more of the starters, but I wasn't sure how much cash in the bank I would need to get on my feet, and running in the red risks game over so that's why I made my start.

@@TeddyNinja yeah understandable! The money really was a big problem at the start and you managed to pull it off pretty well!

It's just a time-lapse of a few in game hours where we were building up. The only thing I was working on was unlocking the genomes of our "wild caught" dinosaurs so I didn't think any of the recording was particularly interesting for the video.

It's a smaller carnivore that unlocks earlier.
