I’ve been following the game since the original series a long time ago and bought a couple of trial decks to try out myself, but never found anyone to play with. From playing Zero, I got an itch to play standard after dropping off from following the game while the v-series was airing. I know there have been a few rule changes in the v-series from the original, but I’m not sure about how they work. Thanks for making this video, since I definitely needed a refresher.

I've legit just been binging the anime and shit after having played Zero. The mobile game is definitely a good way to get into Vanguard in general, but it obviously doesn't compare to the physical card game. Zero is way too defensive, and having cards that can retire units or ignore perfect guards pretty much makes or breaks a deck in Zero. tl;dr: Silent Tom is a lot more OP in Zero than he is in the physical card game since Zero is even more defensive than normal Vanguard.

Thanks for the video, I started playing Zero on the first of July and I am enjoying playing the game. Binging the animes and watching all the content I can find in the last two weeks are full card fight vanguard. Another thing for strides: as well as gaining the “heart” power, the stride also gains the name of the heart. This can be immensely important for certain decks and cards you may choose to play in premium.

Maaan I know this doesn't fit well but just talking about local card shops made me reminisce. I miss the card shop near me who did VG but they shut down around G era starting and the next nearest shop is nearly 2 hours away. Love the game but because of it I took a lot of time off, started again round October last year w my friends. Sorry for the rant but I fully agree with this man, go to your locals and support them!

Blimey that was alot... but it's a brilliant "cover all basis" introduction to help Vanguard Zero players enter the TCG. Atleast try it. I tried the game with a college friend back in 2012 and I'm still here 8 years later... Jeez, didn't realise it's been that long :')

As a player of both I'm really happy this video was made! Zero is really fun but absolutely can't compare to the real TCG and I hope this inspires some people to start playing!

You should have talked about the difference between the way intercept works in zero and in the TCG.

With regards to the MLB set, it can be upgraded with only a card from the Altmile deck unless you are going for a hardline Blaster build. I made a Messianic build after MLB came out that runs the RP Blaster Dark and MLB in the Messianic build from Light of Salvation Logic of Destruction

This a great video man. VZero is a really good place for start,then anybody can choose the TCG or maybe use another platform to play (like 3DS or Switch). The point is that the vanguard community keeps growing more and more. PD: Btw,you think we may have legion,Strides or Gift Markers on VZero? I would like specially the last one jeje

I’ve been following standard pretty closely since the reboot and I was excited to get back into vanguard when Genesis was announced as the protagonist clan with Shin but was very disappointed with the Astral Plane mechanic being genesis’ new main mechanic, but when the BanG Dream set was announced I was again super excited to get back into the game!!! I told myself no matter how bad Roselia was I would build them and when I learned Yukina functions as a better Minerva I was again so excited!!! I’m waiting for the BanG Dream set to release in English before I fully dive back into the game

Hi df! I just want you to know that i played vg zero since s2. I always liked vanguard since asia circuit, but i was little and had no money to buy cards. As an adult now, i was able to finally buy the trial decks that you recommended as beginner products videos ago, and rn the tcg is so much fun!

One thing I've always disliked most about vanguard is it's lack of ocg and online for us English only players so zero is a good change a pace for vanguard

Funny thing is I got into vanguard during G era but never had a deck at all because jobless still and it ended up too expensive anyway. Closest I had to vanguard before zero was playing stride to victory and area. I really do hope to get into standard this year.

I used to play premiun in LB era and got drifted after that And I started again in V era and have been using a royal deck but it's better to play irl than zero imo and i hope more people join tcg too

I feel that zero players should join standard first before they go into premium. Premium got a bit too much cards and info for them to digest while standard are much easier due to the smaller card pool for each clan.

I am starting to quit magic and get back into this game and yugioh. I have about 5 decks 1.Shadow(legends deck + revenger) 2. Kagero(legends) 3. Gold Paladin (starter deck, from G) 4. Aqua force (v series, plus many good cards from the 2016 winter set)(just bought this 5. Gear chronicles. (No nextage =(, and probably is extremely dated) My cards are probably heavily dated 😂 but I wish there were tournaments near my place

Vanguard needs a online version of the tcg kinda like ygopro that would be nice

I knew the tcg rules from the anime and i dont understand why not make the game the same, with the actual rules you could actually defend yourself and have a chance of comeback instead of normal drawing your heal triggers and wasting pgs on dmg zone

Yeah rough times living in Wyoming and trying to find people wanting to play vanguard. There is one shop here that says they support vanguard but I know they are only selling what they last bought and are trying to get rid of their stock because everyone here dropped vanguard after the revamp in 2018. Oh well😂

I loved the TCG. However what’s very frustrating is how cards become so expensive and cards depreciate and depreciate in value and that’s what holds me back from buying ant new cards. Especially when the added standard format it basically took the value off of all my cards.

I miss playing Vanguards at locals unfortunately none of my Legion mates play Vanguard.
