Many are asking where was the Zeroes part It was named that way because the Aussies lost the previous 3 Ashes Series continuously both home and away. So this win was a comeback win
Ashes Down Under 2013-14 was a disaster for England as they lose 5 nil to the hosts Australia. This Ashes series ended with very sad exits of two English cricket legends Kevin Pietersen and Graeme Swann from International arena.
I love ind - aus rivalry and series but man the ashes is the best..144 yrs of rivalry it is impeccable.. No series can be compared.. No rivalry is greater than the ashes it was the reason that temprament of test cricket arose in the humanity...
Gabba, Brisbane arguably the world's best ever pitch where bowlers, batsman enjoy. Be it test, Odi, t20, it's a place where watching cricket be it on ground or television it's a joy to watch. u never gestures anytime. Also the gallery is so big & gigantic.
We were damn near perfect that test. Adelaide will be a whole new ball game. But how good was Mitchell. From being heavily talked about as old news, a broken down record / athlete. What a story. What bowling. And to quote the people's jester Michael Slater "it's nasty, nasty stuff" I love it. Hard to beat the Ashes
They are legends but recently the standard has been lower than ever with the introduction of female commentary thanks to ipl. It has been a shame as woman doesnt know anything about real cricket no offence. Thats the truth.
@@spateri728 yeah Just trying 2 world Cup🏆 2 champion trophy 1 T20 trophy🏆 2 back-to-back BG Trophy🏆 Most crowned champions of Asia Cup 🏆 First time beaten West Indies in a world Cup final And one day we shall be above Australia in cricket.
@@radhekrishnakijai867 As of January 2021, Australia is ranked third in the ICC Test Championship on 113 rating points.[13] Australia is the most successful team in Test cricket history, in terms of overall wins, win-loss ratio and wins percentage. The team has played 955 ODI matches, winning 579, losing 333, tying 9 and with 34 ending in a no-result.[14] As of January 2021, Australia is ranked fourth in the ICC ODI Championship on 111 rating points,[15] though have been ranked first for 141 of 185 months since its introduction in 2002. Australia is the most successful team in ODI cricket history, winning more than 60 per cent of their matches,[14] with a record seven World Cup final appearances (1975, 1987, 1996, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015) and have won the World Cup a record five times: 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015. Australia is the first (and only) team to appear in four consecutive World Cup finals (1996, 1999, 2003 and 2007), surpassing the old record of three consecutive World Cup appearances by the West Indies (1975, 1979 and 1983) and the first and only team to win 3 consecutive World Cups (1999, 2003 and 2007). The team was undefeated in 34 consecutive World Cup matches until the 2011 Cricket World Cup where Pakistan beat them by 4 wickets in the Group stage.[16] It is also the second team to win a World Cup (2015) on home soil, after India (2011). Australia have also won the ICC Champions Trophy twice (2006 and 2009) making them the first and the only team to become back to back winners in the Champions Trophy tournaments. Australia is the only team to win 5 Cricket World Cups, no other team has won more than 2 Cricket World Cups at most. Yep, we got a few records there. Not even our major sport in a country that has only just reached 25 million. I'm sure India will dominate in the future, I'd be pretty disappointed if they didn't with the sheer size of their talent pool and lack of other sporting opportunities. At the moment though they don't have a great record outside of Asia. Lucky we didn't play SA otherwise it might have been a NZ vs Aus WTC final as well. We've even beaten the World XI. You guys are better at hockey if you look at the records though. Talk more about the Gabba guys...🙄
The toss is going to be absolutely crucial in the next Test in Adelaide! Which ever team bats first has a huge advantage in that Test and at the WACA. To bowl last in the second innings and then be expected to fit 3 days later is hard especially considering how that Adelaide wicket tends to flatten as the days go on
Dear cricket.com.au :)I would like to say, thank you to you for taking the time, effort and energy to both upload and share this video with the youtube community. Thank You!
Siddle wasn't worthy in the team but we(post 1995) guys have so many memories along with him. When we started watching cricket we only knew him from whole Aus team because of his face's unique structure! Love him a lot!
Zeros as in having lost the Ashes a couple of months before 3-0 in England. Gotta remember a lot of these Aussie players had lost 3 consecutive Ashes Series in 09, 10/11 and 13 (Watson, Clarke, Haddin, Johnson, Siddle, Harris, Smith)
What an amazing little seven and a half minutes this is. 👑👍👑 It's everything about TEST CRICKET and the Ashes. The ebb and flow. The uncertainty. Then building a winning position. Who could not love cricket? ❤
Eng was a wonderful team. When they had bell Trott root and cook in their batting line up. Now they are bad in test. Aus and Ind are the only team I feel that can still win test matches anywhere. But we all know what happens to Ind in Icc tournaments. 🙃🙃
@@sahilprusty they were entertaining...bro am an Aussie fan...but I know what's gon happen to them in future...the Australian cricket is on a decline....I feel soo bad... 😭...they better stick to basketball or rugby or AFL....they are progressing well in those sports
