With EcoLife Offroad 2, ZF has launched forth a worthy successor to its top-selling transmission in the segment of medium to heavy vehicles such as construction sites and dump trucks. The permissible engine-end torque has been increased to 3,000 Nm and that of the two engine-dependent PTOs to 1,000 Nm. Thus, the seven-speed automatic transmission enables high and robust power transmission in the toughest off-road conditions.
