Been using the plus daily for about 2 months now and never had your issue with the battery disconnect. Will be mindful of that issue tho. I suspect you can barely feel the weight difference between them with those Schwarzenegger arms of yours. Thanks Josh.

Had that exact battery problem with my crane plus on my last shoot. I had very limited time to shoot so I kinda panicked and just went hand-held. I thought either the battery had died or the crane was malfunctioning, but quickly found out when I got home that it was just because the handle screw was ever so slightly loose. Really annoying but as long as you ensure everything is tightened before shooting, the Plus is awesome

I am using the crane plus. I have used it for a handful of shorts and a wedding. It has been really great thus far. I also have the bar handle which has 1/4" ports for adding accessories. I went with the plus for the versatility and size; it was best for me. I hope i don't experience the battery disconnect you mentioned. My set up is using Sony A cameras which also helps to reduce payload. Great vid, thank you for doing this.

Hey Travis! Thank you for watching. Because of the grip I use, I tend to turn the handle at times, disconnecting the batteries :( The Crane Plus is still a great gimbal, so you made a an awesome choice there :)

Hey Josh! Thanks for the great video. I have been shooting with the Crane Plus and the GH5 for a little while. I like the combo. I have done shots while holding rig out of window or sun roof at highway speeds over train tracks and hills and it was flawless. How ever at a beech, I did notice a bit of jitters, but I think it was because the battery was lower as well or I didn't have great balance. I am having a hard time doing inversions with it, seems like it decides it wants to move a weird way when I do that, or when I try to bring it back out of inversion. I almost have to help guide it by hand. Maybe you have advice on that. Maybe I have to do that quicker? I love attaching my Crane to a monopod and do boom shots and such. BTW, you remind me of a guy I went to highschool with in PA.

Yeah I sent my bloody crane plus to the Netherlands today, keeps disconnecting, not good, hope they can fix it as before it started doing this I loved it. Also cost a fortune to ship it there from the UK, hope they pay that too! But as I said, when it worked I loved using it, very useful on a few jobs with the gh4. Ironically the mo o pod I ordered arrived today, hope it doesn't take too long for the plus to get back fixed!!

I was deciding between the Crane Plus and the Crane M for my Sony A6500 and 35mm f1.8. I ended up getting the Crane Plus but it seems way too big for travel. Although I have not seen the Crane M in real life I kind of wish I got that due to its more compact size.

The Crane 2 lacks Night timelapse and Focus Tracking though. Focus Tracking on the PLUS is a HUGE selling point. I LOVE the OLED display on the 2, but the focus tracking is something I really want. Does the Crane 2 allow this with the latest firmware??

Hey! Thanks for the video! I have Canon 200D, which Gimbal you think I should go with? All the functions that Plus has are great, but as far as I know, they do not work with Canon? I really would like to make one but a good buy. Is there any gimbal you can recommend that is within the price range of Zhiyun, but I will be able to use all options with Canon?

Thanks for the video ! I'm looking at buying a 2nd hand Crane 2, however I will be mainly using the gimbal for backpacking travel videos, so I'm after something lighter to carry around / in the backpack all day. I'm using a GH4 native 16-35mm lens, but also have metabones with a couple full frame heavier lenses... What would you suggest?

Hi, i have a problem with the crane plus. Sometime i accidently set the pov mode and when i want to set back the gimbal in pan or follow mode the horizon line is inclined. How can i set the horizon line "horizontal" without turn off and on the gimbal?

I have a Crane Plus that I haven't used but twice and I hate it. I thought it was my firmware and when I tried to find it again it was not to be found. Zhiyun doesn't have the gimble listed as available anymore so after seeing your video I thought about buying the Crane 2. Is it worth it for real? Just the fact it has a display that lets me know what mode I'm in about has me sold. Is there an upgrade to the Crane 2 since you did this video in 2018? If so, what would you suggest?

Cannot make up my mind, the crane 2 seems too big and heavy the crane plus size value ratio seems perfect for me but! I have the a7r2 with the zeiss 35 1.4 and I am affraid the clearance is not enough, also have the 28/2 with the 16mm adapter very heavy so I am afraid it will be too front heavy so again the camera goes backward position too much to balance it. What do you think? I know I should try. Anyway how much bigger and heavier the crane 2 is? I know the specs but in real life, very noticeable? You are too strong to notice the difference maybe :) Thanks aníway. Nice video, appreciate your work!

Thanks so much for your great comment! I was able to able to balance my 70-200 G-Master lens with a Sony A9 and cage. I think you will be just fine with the Crane 2 :)

Hi does anybody know if the crane plus has a reset button to recenter the gimbal to straight ahead feiyutech has this on there trigger buttons its a double press to get out of any mode and have the gimbal reset to straight ahead ive never used zhiyun but iam on the fence in getting the moza aircross or zhyiun plus.

Dont get zhiyun get the moza air 2 if you have enough money,zhiyun is not a good gimbal and it doesn't has a recenter trigger or button. I never used crane 2 but i am a user of zhiyun plus and it has so many problems and it feels its behind the market and new technology, it gives you the feeling that they were the first products which they didn't know what the users expects(Sorry for my poor english)

Hi, I am using Crane 2 with a Sony a7iii. My camera is charging from the gimbal when hooked up but I just want the remote functions and not the charging. I already have the USB Power Supply setting as off in the camera but it is still charging. Any ideas about this? Thanks.

The upgrade of Crane Plus in Zhiyun does not seem to be very significant. The 2.5 kg load is only a little more weight, but the price has increased a lot. Overall, the price is not very high.
