the reason its vibrating is because of the weight, yes zhiyun can support the weight of the camera but when you titled in that way or certain angles your putting strain on the motors. I use this for weddings and other client work..im a professional photographer from Northern Ireland. hope this helps.

Hey, I love your channel, I recently got into video lighting and your channel has amazing content. I was wondering if you would recommend this set up over getting the Zhiyun crane 3? The vibrating is a bit of a worry since I would be shooting weddings. I am guessing its a weight issue and I shoot with the fuji XT2 and XT3. Just wanted to get your feedback and also thank you for the content.

Lol after watching this video a few times, I dunno why people are complaining about the lack of 120p in the new cameras. The slowmo PJ has achieved in 60p looks just as amazing as PM's slowmo in 120 on his 1dx2. Amazing work bud! Keep it up!

I've used my Crane 2 a lot and I've never had it vibrate on me once, and I literally use the same camera you are in this video. I think something may be wrong with yours bro. lol

You are 100% correct in regard to the follow focus mini rod attachment. The hot set up would be a super light quick release plate with real shot rod(s). That way, the follow focus would move with the plate. If the gear depth was greater on the follow focus it might work by not having to snug it as tight.

Dude I’m sorry but that can not possibly be balanced. Balancing a gimbal requires it to be able to stay in every position regardless . Not just backwards or forwards. I own every Zhiyun and it’s impossible to balance with a battery grip let alone add a mic to the camera

Hi mate. I really hope you read this. I've been eyeing this crane for a while but haven't found the answer I'm looking for. Here's my dilemma: my church does live streaming right. So I was able to set a Limit G7 and a 12mm (24) along with a external fake battery so it runs forever. I'd love to set it all in a cage. The cage would contain the G7, 12mm t2.2, battery bank, and an antenna which transmits 1080i @ 59.94. from the looks of it... It seems like it should handle it. All and all, it comes up around 4-5 lbs. Do you think this is possible? If so, which cage would you recommend?! Tia

The batteries are why I went with dji my ronin m and s last for days without charging I really think its preference on your choice of stabilizers. I have never had battery issues and I have had my ronin m for over three years maybe you just had a faulty battery.

I just got the crane 2, and man, how do u carry that thing around with you when traveling?? I'm just holding it around my house for like 15 mins just to see what it feels like and it's mad heavy. I have the 6dii with a 16-35 f4 IS setup. Maybe I'm too used to my gopro with gimbal setup...

Welcome to WA state! ;-) I've been researching gimbals lately, for either a Canon M5 mirrorless or maybe C100 Mk2 but, I'm leaning towards just a small gimbal for the M5 since I worry that my old weak Mr. Burns arms couldn't handle a gimbaled C100 for more than 5 minutes! ;-) Thanks for the video!

I had the same vibrations in some specific positions and rebalancing solved it. Also lowering the motor strenght helps sometimes. About the height - there is a special arm replacement for this gimbal that allows it to lower the camera even further. They made it after 1dxII users made complains. About the follow focus - there is a new model where this problem you were talking about is fixed :). There is only one issue with this gimbal that I can't fix so far and it is a bug maybe. When you lower the handle more than 45 degrees it stops controling the follow left-right and if you rotate the handle and start raising it back to vertical it freaks out. But yes I love the Crane 2, in my opinion it is the best one hand gimbal out there not only as a unit but also as a system because there are a lot of accessories out there for this. I can't wait to see what will come next from them.

would u be able to get your hands on a dji ronin s and do a comparison? Really looking into getting a gimbal for the dslr but dunno which one to get. I like the crane 2 and it's smaller size but it has those nodding issues. The ronin S seems to do everything slightly better, but I don't want to carry that huge case around when traveling...first world problems...

Peeps, I have a 77d with a 35-135mm. And it would vibrate on medium. I set it to low and it worked. For being that tall with the battery grip, you have to unscrew the tilt axis until you can jerk the arm past the notch and bring the arm down to flush. Orrrrr....you can buy the gravity mount or extension they released. If you can manage a cage, you can mount the servo off that.

potato jet did you check you motor sensitivity ?

most of the vibration is occur : when motor power voltage is too big for the load. i have ikan beholder EC1 that have vibration with sony a5500 (small camera) and witg canon 7D it is perfect no vibration at all. the i use zhiyun crane M, crane 1 and crane V2 which all have the problem : a tilt "jitter" when you walk or run, it will dissapear if your lens have optical stabilizer or your camera body have inbody stabilizer (a6500, a7ii, a7iii). now i use ronins S and so far not found problem.
