This is an outstanding floor plan, has everything you'd need. Love the unique hallway. I would change the tile in the primary shower and switch out the carpet for LVP, then it would be perfect for me.

This was one of the first homes I saw and it remains my favorite home of any ever! There are so few changes I would make and those are the same for any home. I love love love this home so much! I wish I could get it in CT!

Love the layout. I would shift the two bedrooms down and move the family room next to the living room and take out the wall to increase the living room and give each room an extra foot. Move the kitchen sink under the window and some minor cabinet changes.

Great home! I would flip flop the dishwasher and pot and pans drawer, change the color of the island and it's perfect for me! I do wish they'd get rid of the threshold at the marriage line. Very nice tour Nate!

Lovely, the center raised strip going down center of hallway. Water heater in bedroom closet is a no go.

Oh how I miss the claw feet tubs. They were angled perfectly. Love the home, the kitchen is a little weird for me and the zig zag hallway but we could get used to it.

The bedrooms need to be bigger. But overall it's a nice model. The utility room would be good for sewing room, office or craft room. If you had kids they could do their homework there. In the laundry room I'd want a big linen closet. Every house needs a linen closet.

I agree about the water heater why do they think it’s a good idea to put it in a bedroom closet instead of the utility room?? Most of the time when they go they leak or you have to replace the heating element there is no room to work in there, 😊ut the rest is beautiful

I never understood why they build the master bathroom with huge windows when you are getting out or in the bathtub and shower. I would make it a wall with the windows at the top to let light in.

I think this home would hit 99% of the items that we would like in a home. Living room is shy of a fireplace. The master needed the double rack on the long side & the single rack on the other. I think that the den & laundry room would make a great sewing/quilting roo. I could see the island in there as a cutting/ironing station. We would still have to build a shop/garage (50x100?) for my husband.

Hello Nate! Good video! #1) In the Foyer. Why in the world didn't they put in a Coat Closet instead of that table and mirror? There is plenty of room for a small Coat Closet, which is what I'd have put in. #2) In the Living Room, that entertainment center wasn't built-in was it? Because we'd want a fireplace of some kind; wood-burning or Gas. Carpet in Living Room, of course. #3) In the Kitchen. Why do they have the Kitchen Sink in the island when there is plenty of room to put it over under the windows right across from the island? That would be where we'd put the kitchen sink, Not in the island! I think we'd put a slightly smaller island in there with wheels on it. But except for the sink being in it, the island isn't that bad this time - there actually looks like there's room for me to get a wheelchair around it without ruining the cabinets by hitting them! So we Might keep this big one after the sinks moved. The microwave is in the perfect place! I'd want a Gas Cook Stove though with a Pot Filler. The Pantry is nice - it's not as big as we'd like, but there is one! #4) The Dining Room looks nice. But we'd like to have a door outside there so we can build a deck/porch, enclosed, so it can be enjoyed year round. That wall looks like it would be an okay place to put Grandma's China Cabinet, which is a deal breaker for me if there is Not a place for it! #5) In the Utility Room. Those barn doors would have to be removed immediately. I hate barn doors inside the house! Just put either Pocket Doors or French Doors maybe. But you're right, Nate! I would for sure make that area in there into my Office! I may even put carpet in the Office area. But also, somewhere in there we are going to have to find a place to put the Water Heater, maybe with outside access. Being in the closet like it is now...that's a big No from me. Not sure where to put it. Put a smaller island with wheels on it, and use one of the window areas, maybe? I'd move that island closer to the laundry side anyway so I could use it without many extra steps as a folding table. I'm glad they left room for an Upright Freezer! #6) The Family Room and the Bedroom 3, next to it, would be combined to become the GYM. Out that back door we'd build a Garage and a Storage area, with a Big long-term Pantry and a Pet Shower, and maybe a place for a Chest Freezer. #7) The Guest Bathroom would probably be left as is. But Bedroom 2, next to it, would be soundproofed, and turned into my Music/Studio Room. And Bedroom 4 would be turned into my Library, with a small sitting area with carpet in the sitting area. That water heater access in that closet would have to be moved (see #5). #8) The Master Bedroom is nice and spacious; carpet in here. I love that the Closet is in the bedroom and not in the bathroom! But in the Bathroom there's a problem. There is No way that narrow Commode area is wide enough for me!! But how to fix it I'm not sure. I'd need a Handicapped Tub instead of the tub shown. I just realized that we can make it a Big Handicapped Tub & Shower Combo and do away with the tile shower. Then the Commode could be put where the shower is shown. The area where the commode is shown could just be added to the Closet; and the vanity and linen cabinet can be extended. There's the shower in the guest bathroom too, if hubby wants to use it instead of my Combo. At least that would fix the commode problem!! #9) We'd have porches/decks around as much of the house as possible. Most of them enclosed, but some just covered. As I said Nate, good video. It's not really a bad house. Not too bad a price, but of course, my changes would up the price. See you next time. God bless y'all.

It's nice. I really couldn't tell if the bedrooms would work since they were kinda wonky. I would rather have the sink by the window instead of the island. that would give you loads of counter space since that island is so big. No to the blue island. Cool house though. More to heat and cool.

I love the house but agree about the hot water in the bedroom...i also have a comment for you. I hope that it is ok. Please don't copy what other RU-vidrs do when not just opening doors and not worrying about people looking into windows. I totally appreciated how you did it your way. (Hope you understand)

I love the foyer; it just needs a coat closet. Not feeling the kitchen layout, they should have put the sink & dishwasher in front of the windows and left them off the island. The kitchen also needs more cabinets. Nice dining area & pantry. That utility room, wow! 😮😳 It's bigger than some of the other rooms! It can double as an office. The utility room was big enough for them to put the hot water heater there instead of the bedroom. Fabulous master suite! Unique tub & beautiful tiles in the shower. 😍I wouldn't want those big windows right in front of the tub.

Nice home but the Utility Room is wasted space that could have been used to enlarge the bedrooms. I would want it half the size. The bedrooms are more important. Hot water heater should have been in that oversized utility room instead of a closet. Thanks Nate!

Put doors on open cabinets and the size of the laundry room no excuse for the water heater to be in a bedroom closet.

This home has some nice features, but they waste so much space in the laundry room by putting an island in there. I'd much prefer that cabinets line the room by at least placing lowers all along the wall where the huge windows are. That would double the space the island provides, and would give a huge area for hobbies or other activities. The island there just serves as an impediment to easy movement in this room.

The utility room is great, but I would not want all those built ins. I would instead like to put a couple of chest freezers in there.

Window's in the kitchen must be able to Open but these don't. Could use Much more upper cabinets so get rid of one of the windows and put in more upper cabinets, the ones that are present are pretty small.

Weird kitchen layout. I would have put utility room in one of the small bedrooms. Then that nice big room could have been a spacious bedroom or an office. I did like living room

Master bathroom would've been nice had they again not skimped and had at least the window at far end open but not one window in the bathroom opens, then the cabinets beside the sinks are missing their doors and this is supposed to be acceptable 😅😂 this home has so many negatives, it's like being presented incomplete, cost saving deletions, reduced the number of windows that open, cubbies instead of proper linen cabinets with door's, three shelves and the pantry where 5 should be in there, extra non functional window in the kitchen instead of More upper cabinets, and windows in dining again are non functional, more cabinets in laundry room with no doors. Well when they finish fitting this home out it might be a nice place but as is I Think not.
