In your 40’s when you wake in the morning your first thought “what is going to hurt first” and it’s different every morning. I’m so sorry about your back, I myself have a bulge and a tear in the root of a disc.
You know what I'm going to say. Had one but just didn't play it often enough to justify keeping it. Should have kept it. I stuck an 8" K splash on the inside and man did that sound good. Phil Gould used one with Level 42. He didn't hit it a lot, but when he did, it was like a gut punch.
There was something special about these old K’s that isn’t around this here days, maybe the age factor plays a part. This one is very played in and matured nicely.
@@IAMDRUMMER truely, there is something magical about the EAK and IAK cymbals, don't get me wrong post laser serial K's are still amazing, but they just cannot compete
@@IAMDRUMMER yep! Mine is in good shape. After i watch the last song of Zildjian vhs (Manu Katché) I went to my music store and ordered one :) I have one older zildjian 19" K Custom china boy too.
@nunobaiao-NBdrums same here man that VHS tape sure got a workout, the wrong one was delivered as I wanted the brilliant model, it arrived eventually. Just had to have the brilliant.
It was very popular back in the day and even Novak would lay in to it between his ride and right side crash. You can still buy the K China and K Custom China but I believe the China boy line is long gone.
