His music are one of the most played in Namibia even though most of the people don't understand the lyrics. his music gave courage and hope to most of the ex-combatants that were in the battle deep in the jungle during the Namibian liberation struggle till the country get independent, just by listening to the sounds and beats of the music on an OMEGA RADIO TAPE. May his soul continuous RIP
I'm from Kenya and this part of East Africa, it's difficult to have discovered this local musician. I was playing Oliver Mtukudzi songs and my RU-vid switched to this guy's music, i let it play for a few minutes and my attention is caught, i browse around to see who this unique musician is... i am happy i discovered this music, I've been playing his songs all night. I particularly love this one, i don't understand a thing but damn the guitar and voices are so cool. Zimbabwe is the heart of Africa, i hope I'll one day tour the country and taste the rich culture ❤
This song is the root for Tongai and Peter Moyo's most songs. E.g. naye, zvinoita murudo, ndiwe uri kupisa. Peter must not stray far from this signature sound. It's authentic and Zimbabwean.
This song reminds me of my late father,I salute u Dad ur spirit live in me,, and I love u no one will ever erase u in my heart,u the best Dad u tought me ur roots Zim power
Zim has produced great talent and great songs but this song is something else! Timeless! Binga, Beitbridge, Mutare, Kariba, just across all the ethnic groups of Zim. Same passion!(2023)
I came here because of how Tendai Dembo excellently played his father's song live at Independence gala on 18 April 2024. He played it as it is, I wish him the best in his music journey.

Tears are flowing down as i listen to this masterpiece. It reminds me of a promising and hopeful Zimbabwe we once lived.I wonder how Dembo would pen down songs that describe our suffering under the current regime, how he would express our quagmire prophetically to sooth our souls.Comrades pray for us,pray for Zimbabwe.Dembo we miss you under this despotic establishment.
You had a special moment never to be forgotten! Music of the time soon after getting into Mozambique for the first time but in hot love with a Portuguese speaker
