I had been checking my name in the voter's database and it had been indicated that my name is in polling Centre A. However on the day of voting, l was surprised that it had been shifted to another unknown Centre. I had to go polling station by station checking for my name. How pathetic.

There are powerful forces behind Zanu pf which the CCC and the citizens only can not defeat in a peaceful way. Behind Zanu pf are these countries helping to resist change in Zim because they have interests, South Africa(ANC), Russia, China, Belarus and UAE.
2 years ago he knew that there was going to be electoral disputes so he appointed a discredited Chief Justice whose two terms was over (the law says one must serve only 2 terms). He had reached 70 years as well (the law says when u reach 70 u must retire) the law also says if an amendment is made, it must not benefit the one who is incumbent. So for 3 points the CJ appointed by the President breached our laws. This is problematic as it creates conflict of interest. As if that is not enough, towards elections, All judges were given lump sum grants. This was to buy them into towing the Zanu pf line. All these things show just one thing that Zimbabwe's recently concluded elections were not free and were not fair. The diaspora vote was not considered.

What I have observed is that ZANU PF has gained and took advantage of the situation in Zimbabwe. Due to these sanctions ZAN"U PF has created a parallel government run by the Army, ZANU PF, and a group of thugs managing a smuggling syndicates where the goods and resources are being sold benefiting a few at the expense of the state and the whole country. Thats why ZANU PF is able to buy a fleet of state of art vehicles for every ZANU PF candidate and affording to grant loans members of the parliament, the judiciary chiefs, and senior government officials and many more. ZANU PF runs a secret government organization outside the proper state fiscal units to finance all its illicit deals and units like FARS. I believe this is really happening in Zimbabwe thats why they are prepared to do anything to stay in power only to protect their interests rather than of the state and the whole population. The gold mafia is one such unit. an illegal arrangement meant to circumvent the proper channels meant to benefit everybody in the coountry.
You are saying midnight polls as if the whole zimbabwe had their voting extended. Look here 98% of the polling stations voted during the day on the 23rd. Only a mere 2% that had logistical problems had their time extended to allow voters to exercise their right.

I agree but at the same deploying the military for civilian issues is a recipe for disaster. Yes the executive, judicial and the legistlature are all officially captured but using force to mitigate this crisis may only make it worse as the military leader in charge of such an action may declare himself a new dictator and we'll see more of the same problem. I think the best way is for the whole population to stand up and halt all economic activity. Just like what the Egyptians did and it worked

Since Zim election results are posted at every polling station, what's so difficult for opposition parties to compile and tabulate these results and compare them with the official results. They could also use this information in court should need arise. In fact, the system of posting results at polling stations makes the electoral process very transparent and makes rigging impossible!!
Also it's about the unmonitored rural areas. The people there are so vulnerable to mental and physical abuse.... They hardly have doors on their tiny houses... They are threatened into shivering wrecks months before the election.
The problem mat not be the figures but the process that produced the figures. If there was no visible violence, yet people were coerced and intimidated to vote for ZANU PF, can you call it a free election
