I've never known of a real estate agent who was comfortable with an owner meeting potential buyers. Too many things can go wrong.

It’s not bad if potential buyers meet the homeowners- You can learn way more about the home and neighborhood by having the opportunity to speak in more depth with the owners vs a realtor. The realtor is not your friend, and their goal doesn’t always align with the buyers goal.. in fact they want you to purchase the home at a higher price point to ensure a higher commission. Make the realtors work so you get the best outcome for you not the realtor and home seller.. the same goes if you are the seller.
