Something to consider when doing the magnet sanding is that they're made of a toxic material that should under no circumstances be inhaled or ingested. Please take care
I had to sand my frame and slide for around an hour because my frame was warped a little, but I was impatient and didnt wanna wait. (1 hour of sanding>waiting overnight to print the frame again) I also sand down all my mags, and the magwell too a little bit, I start with 80 for about one minute then, 5 seconds of 120, and 220. Love this gun, wish I had your tweaked files when I printed mine a week ago, but man I cant stop shooting this thing, such a blast. Also, I like the crescent wrench shaped hammer you got there haha.
I was too impatient to wait for the video release so I started building my Zinc last night! I'll need to reassemble the plunger because I forgot the o ring and reversed the smooth rod's direction. If only I had this video 24 hours ago 😂
Technically these aren't really "frontline foam" blasters most were designed by someone else.. They just print them and either sell the parts, hardware, or put it all together for you..
Man, I want to build this so bad, but the spring is too strong for my tastes and the shipping costs to my country are crazy high, like 100 dollars! Ah well, maybe some day.
I received it last week (7/21/22) with a cracked slide and I can't get in contact with Frontline Foam. Their website service form is not working. They are not returning my emails. Why is there no phone number for them? The pistol is no good with a cracked slide. I'm about to cancel payment.
@@FrontlineFoamBlasters I'm on Mars and your customer service is still terrible! The worst experience I had buying a toy gun. You're still wasting a customer's valuable time making me reply your ridiculous reply..................
Make sure the catch is operating smoothly. Make sure the threaded rod is all the way inserted into the thumbscrew. After that, you may need to back out the threaded insert a quarter of a turn or so.
When buying the 3D printed parts from you are they already sanded and drilled out? Also would it be ok to get it to Australia or would customs take it?
Yes, we post-process all the prints before shipping. However, some light sanding/drilling might be required for the build. The Zinc 2.0 build goes together pretty easily, though.
@@FrontlineFoamBlasters I at least think where I live in Queensland, they are pretty chill about gel blaster replicas so i wouldn't see a problem. (Hopefully)
There’s a lot of repeated force on the catch face and the o-ring in the middle makes a seal against the guide rod and CNC core. Shoot me an email if you need one: support@frontlinefoam.com
@@FrontlineFoamBlasters Thank you for the offer, im from Germany, the tax and delivery costs would be a bit high for a small part like this. I think i found something similar looking.
@@hexdator2934 I ordered twice, the first one was fully assembled and was seized by customs. The second one is a kit (un assembled) and made it through.
