Wow Captain Slug is always innovating and changing the Caliburn. I built the older threaded rod version and source my own hardware kit. Seing this newer iteration makes me want to build another one. Good tutorial Luke 👍.
Do you know why this is designed with a tube and a spacer rather than one long tube? I have issues where the plunger head gets stuck inside the coupler and won't go all the way back when I am trying to prime it sometimes. I don't suspect this would happen if the tube was one piece.
I would have thought the motors would be the bigger concern. Most microswitches and slide switches should be good for 24v at least, far more than a 3s pack.
i have just finished my build and tried a test fire but once i pressed fire the dart goes about an inch into the barrel and stops can anyone point me in the right direction please
