Great answers.. but which was the first cement to release fluoride. Thats missing ??
@gaganyadav3589
@gaganyadav3589 4 года назад
Yeah...I guess it was silicate cement. However the fluoride release was little but still it was the first fluoride releasing cement.

So informative sir👍🏼😊😊 so do you recommend zinc polycarboxlylate cement for luting vital tooth rather than gic ??!!
@Aspire32
@Aspire32 4 года назад
It does not depend on cement. It depends on type of crown. Most of the all Ceramic crown say best is resin cement and then gic.. I am releasing conventional gic video in few days. Do check my other videos and give your precious feedback :)

Thnks sir for the amazing lecture👌 Zn polycarboxylate properties are same as gic . What is the difference ?
@Aspire32
@Aspire32 3 года назад
The powder is different. Fluoride release in GIC is more. GIC is more stronger

Sir, If Stannous Fluoride is added to Zinc Phosphate cement, will it also show some anticariogenic property like Zinc Polycarboxylate cement??( though fluoride release is only 15 to 20%) Would it alter any properties of Zinc Phosphate cement?
@Aspire32
@Aspire32 3 года назад
This is tried even in Composites too. The issues is will it get released ??.. may be the chemical reaction does not allow it to release. One who also think whether it will affect other properties of the cement.. u may get fluoride release but the strength may reduce..
@Aspire32
@Aspire32 3 года назад
May be all these parameters are already tried and they did not succeed
