The more I watch kasahf the more i realize how logical and cool practical minded she is, but how emotionally damaged (lack of father figure) that after these strong personality traits she married zarun over a cup tea incident. How vulnerable she must have felt thata cup of tea falling made her feel her feel protected.This drama portrays toxic feminism beautifully and little bit of patriarchy problems too.

Just imagine releasing this series in this era, feminism and misogyny would have been a matter of debate regarding it. But I love both of Zaroon and Kashaf's thought on this.

As a man I have no experiences as to what women go through on a daily basis but what I do know is zaroon’s description of feminism is the most stereotypical thing I’ve ever heard that’s not what feminism is, was or ever will be. yes there are many women who think that this is “feminism” it is not feminism is about equality like a women who has a job can be a good mother but our society only see’s that she is working and not spending every waking moment of her life taking care of her children and a man can work and see his kids only twice a week and people will say “at least he’s trying” “ what a good father” “look at him taking care of his kids” but if the women was is the same situation people would talk about her like she was the worst person ever. Im not saying being a stay at home wife is a bad thing it’s not feminism is about having the choice of working or staying at home. That is what feminism is. Not whatever zaroon is saying

Zaroon is a hypocrite but also a terrible brother as well - he constantly speaks horribly about his sister and mother as though the men in their circle are not the same, are very pak daaman or ghairat mand. They knew who they were marrying when they themselves were dating. Throughout the show Zaroon keeps saying thats not what I meant because he can't face his own hypocrisy and double standards.

initially ye series acchi lagi thi 2014 me. But it has not aged gracefully for sure. Jitni baar dekho bade bade gaddhe nazar aate hain. about looking and showing liberalism/feminism with the wrong lens. Socialize kyu karna hai. kya badi baat ho gayi agar socialize karne se mana kar diya toh 😂 wtf? Could have said, certain crowd ke sath hangout mat karo. But nahi, hangout hi mat karo.
