The story revolves around the lives of Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid. Kashaf, a young woman raised by a single mother, faces a lot of class and gender bias while growing up. However, her life turns around when she meets Zaroon in college. The drama then shows the ups and downs and trials and tribulations faced in every marriage in the most beautiful way!

Its brilliant how this one drama touches sooooo many issues at once. Faith, struggle, feminism, chauvinism, love, superiority and inferiority complexes, class differences, character, prejudices and whatnot. Amazes me everytime i watch it! Truly a masterpiece!

I don't know how many times ive watched this show...I have learnt something new from it... Never give up... Never loose faith in God ... Never think about the society...They salute the rising sun...its all about power... People who genuinely love you always be by your side and never change as time n situation changes... The best part about this show is...nobody is perfect...no character is black or white ..they are all human...grey...love this show ❤

I had watched this drama 10 years ago and at that time Zaroon sounded pretty grounded and logical guy, a green flag, a heartthrob. Even had a crush on him. But while watching it again now after 10 years, in the last 12 episodes, realised in every episode that zaroon is such a typical red flag from a very dysfuntional family. Both zaroon and kashaf came from dysfuntional families.

The Kashaf, Rafiya and Murtaza scene clearly depicts how stranger Murtaza has become to his own family. They ask him to come in, sit down and offer him tea just like they'd do for an unwanted guest. Kashaf doesn't seem interested in speaking to Murtaza and despite Rafiya's genuine efforts soon leaves the forced conversation. Murtaza realises what a complete stranger he has made himself to his wife and daughters.
