Not a Zippo collector myself, but I'm thinking of getting into it. Always fun to see a brass replica 1941 in a collection, lets me see how badly I've battered my own one after carrying it around for the last few years lol!
3:02 Looks like the front side of the Red Matte Zippo has a gap between the lid and body. The back looked flush. Is it just not closed all the way? Was it dropped?
I have about 25 ZIPPO lighters the only differance be tween the ones shown here is that mine have been used I think the oldest one I have is from 1974, have lost about 7 lighters and haven't been able to replace them. I quit smoking 5 years ago and thought about selling them but people want me to give them away and that's not going to happenwould like to get $15.00 each from them and more from the camel collection.
I Have all but one of the linda pickens lab lighters!!! I also love the brass lighters. I have a few custom , redone in Japan , zippoes with silver, brass, abalone done in traditional art styles.

@Rusty Shackleford each to his own. But, I do agree with him. I collect too, but not zippos. If I were however, I would collect real retro older ones and rare editions. To me that is part of collecting, finding the rare ones. Its a chase and it takes some effort. It actually what makes it a hobby and a collection. To me a collection isnt worth (and by this i dont mainly mean money wise) much if I can go online and find every piece that is part of the collection in a couple of clicks away. Going places and keeping an eye out when you travel or meet people is what makes it fun, finding new small Private stores etc. Online is good because you can most of the times find rare stuff there that you dont manage to find else where, but its not as fun and its always higher asking price. But now and then I
