Well they both used los alot+ fear got pretty short range of cast so its easy los/kite. And i think ziqo didnt used block once.

Him not fearing wasn't the problem, it was the nonexistent micromanagement of his pet that was the main problem. Don't allow the double nova to happen and the mage can't drink, then apply a dot and LOS the mage's attempt at damage, apply a dot again and LOS again, and interrupt a mage's attempt to drink with your pet. It really is the easiest matchup ever, the Lock was just really bad.

@@mlowe826 u missed it, every time I used counterspell it was on a fear, hard to spot it when my UI was so poorly setup (no classic cast bars)

No the lock didn't know what he was doing, if I was the lock, Ziqo would of been fear chained halfway to Africa and sent back to Brill ez clap. Only a bad lock loses to a mage and since this was lower level it gave Ziqo a much bigger advantage with his sheeps. You will see if Ziqo duels a real pvp lock at 60.

pretty much confirm i rolled a lock in classic becaue i was being ganked so often by mages on my warrior. I killed every fckin gnome mage I saw for about 12 months until I quit at P2 TBC. Was glorious.

Healthstone + potion can heal a lot of % hp at these levels.

He did try to but he got interrupted, my UI is just not setup to show it in this clip. It’s hard to see because I didn’t have the cast bar addon when this duel was recorded

Siphon life and felhunter are only available from lvl 30. They were lower lvl. He feared at least twice, counterspelled, then LOS's. Agony has been dispelled many times. But yeah, he should have used his pet a bit, and drain life / mana.

There was arcane missiles

Warlocks are one of the tankiest opponents for a Mage, arcane missiles and especially arcane explosion have really bad damage to mana ratio, compared to frost bolt which is the most cost efficient spell for frost mage. It’s important to keep in mind because as you saw, even when you are being efficient you risc going out of mana. Big trouble when it happens :)
