@@anikag.5430 Thanks for your kind response, Anika! I'm approaching 3 years, but have had some physical issues that took many months of practice away. I'm just getting back into it and have decided to play primarily Baroque music. Videos like this are quite motivating.

It's an ornament. Ornaments are at the discretion of the player and often not notated.
