ZMF BOKEH: Best Value Headphone of 2024 

Bokeh is my first pair of ZMF headphone. And because of the price, I finally have a chance to taste the ZMF house sound. Such a masterpiece.

I really love my ZMF Bokehs, using Hybrid pads. I am not an audiophile, I use these at my desk for everything and love the sound. I am feeding them from Modi+/Asgard3.

Bokeh + RU7 pairing is absolutely sublime!

Bokeh is fantastic. Amazing vocals and then outstanding technical performance as well.

I’m waiting for the open version. I heard it at CanJam and thought it was even better. Might get both tho’. 😊

Seeing you hold that one next to your head, I can't shake the idea that Bokeh looks massive. Is it slightly larger than past ZMF cans?

That colour is striking. Must have owned over fifty cans, including a few Sennys, but perversely refused to get the 600 or 650 for fear of anaemic bass.

Have both a stabilized Caldera and Atrium, hoping to grab one of the special Bokehs for work travel.

IMO. Neutral should be a word used in a studio environment. But for everyone else, that isn't a sound engineer or music producer. There should be some flavour that hits the owner right in the soul.

it's interesting that you compare them to HD600 and I remember having both Aeolus and 600 to prefer 600 like more natural sound overall driven by DarkVoice

People were looking at me when they saw my Bokeh in black Limba wood. I didn’t like the attention. For home use on WA5 LE and Wells Audio V8. It’s fun to listen with drop 789 thx. My out and about headphone is Focal Celestee. Bokeh is better but the Focal is better on a ride mower for sound isolation.

How would this compare to the DCA E3?
