ZMI Daeyalt Runecrafting (NEW AFK METHOD) OSRS 2020

Great video! Just a quick tip, using menu entry swapper in Runelite you can set your shift click to fill your pouches while you have your bank open (Bank Deposit Shift Click). This saves you from having to open and close your bank multiple times. It also lets you drink your stamina potion while banking.

Just a heads up, you can change the shift click in your inventory while in your bank, allowing you to press shift and click your pouches to fill them within the banking screen - speeding up your trips

Honestly great and concise videos. One of your videos appeared in my recommendation yesterday and got me to resub to osrs, haven't played in around 15 months so it's great to see videos on the new stuff I missed!

A few helpful things to note: 1. You can fill your essence pouches from within the bank interface by right-clicking them and hitting "fill pouch". This might be slightly slower than just closing the interface depending on your setup, but it saves runes if that's important to you. You can also drink a stam from within the bank interface by right-clicking it, and it will still crush the vial if you have the perk. 2. The essence pouch plugin was updated yesterday I believe, and the developer says he added the item ID for Daeyalt, but that might not have been all that was needed. I would check back soon- it still works fine for pure ess, just not Daeyalt. 3. It's important to have an Abyssal Book in your bank to drastically shorten the dialogue with the Dark Mage when repairing your pouches. If you don't have the book in your bank, it can be reclaimed from a bookshelf in a PoH. :) 4. The plugin "Extended menu entry swapper" from the plugin hub will let you change the shift-click option for NPC contact to be whoever you contacted last (saves you a click) and you can configure your shift-click option for your pouches to be "empty" for faster interactions with the altar.

Pro-tip I haven't seen mentioned yet: You can click to the room the Altar is in from the bank saving you closing the bank and following other players! You do need to change a couple settings in RuneLite to make it work: - On the "Camera" plugin (default on Runelite) -> Change "Expand outer zoom limit" to 250. - Enable "GPU" plugin (default on Runelite) -> Change "Draw Distance" to 90. You should be able to zoom out and orientate your camera while in your bank so you can click the Altar room which sets out off on your journey to the Altar! You should be able to keep that camera position for the whole cycle so it's even more afk!

A point of criticism, getting past Sins of the Father is no trivial feat for an early ironman build. If you can beat Sins of the Father, you are far beyond the point where you could just farm twisted banshees for pure essence... though I sincerely doubt they approach 4k ess/hr. I also question how afk Daeyalt -> ZMI really is, since it doesn't actually make ZMI any less intensive, right? I think of it as two parts, the essence mining which is VERY AFK, and the ZMI part which is no more AFK than normal. Even so, ZMI is decently afkable so take that with a grain of salt

I HIGHLY recommend using Law runes instead of cosmic. The amount of times where I couldn't get a law rune is ridiculous. Way better to either get a cosmic from the altar or just teleport to the bank and fix your pouch.

"incredible option for early ironman" Rune essence is really easy early ironman (you can get 5k pure ess an hour from TT) , and you gotta be a decent beast (base 70 combat) to complete sins of father on an ironman lol.

@ 0:25 100% more xp would be 2x the xp, so 2.65x more is 165% more than usual.

I don't think early ironmen are going to be able to do this method due to the quest's difficulty haha

you shoulld update this guide to include the new arceuus spell that exchanges prayer points for run. if youre on lunars you can cast it with spellbook swap or use ornia tabs and be on the arceuus spell book

it seems like it isn't that much more AFK really. Seems like a method that would be great at earlier levels, but isn't really all that viable. I dunno, I guess that means they got the balance right. I'll stick with profit from natures or lavas for xp

Is it just me or does updates keep getting more and more game changing. I kind of like the gathering pure essence and gathering them from bosses and other stuff, like banshees. I feel like we are getting further away from the nostliga of old school runescape 😐 By all means, some updates as really good and I dont find this very game changing, just a tought of mind

I found a great new trick for this! When I was in the ZMI worlds the other day I realized there was barely anyone to follow there, BUT if you use the GPU plugin for RuneLite and set the Draw Distance to the max (90) you can actually see the altar from the bank! If you set your screen up right, you can even click on it without ever exiting your bank screen. If you mark the altar its a lot easier to see as well. One tip though, it's easy to click on the cracks to squeeze through instead, so marking those as well can help you avoid them. i.imgur.com/CncoRql.png
