Good idea , haven’t checked it out yet , but was Renault using the ncap information from the previous model tests outside the period which ncap , may join your letter writing . Not happy as the value of my ev may well plummet . Have already had an enquiring person told to not buy one for this reason
I agree. The value of the Zoe 50 is £0 if you value your family... I would never even consider one now. They should do the right thing and buy them all back... Iirc they did this when the Dacia Duster launched in the UK with some serious (rust) issues!
It’s definitely going to impact sale prices, I wouldn’t be comfortable with selling to another individual which means part exchange or we buy any car, automatically meaning you’ll get less than a private sale.
It’s horrible and they should do something, and be made to do something, otherwise it’s a green light for all other manufacturers to do the same and take bits out post crash testing…. Not that they would, such an honest bunch.
Good for you. It's totally unacceptable and I agree that Renault have, by omission, mislead consumers. Poor show! Perhaps you could publish the details of who to write to and Thier address.. that might speed up the response that you receive and help them focus on a suitable response!!
Renault are getting plenty of well deserved criticism at the moment ..zero star Zoe , Russia debacle...the way they deceive customers is quite shocking and now again with the UK release of the MeganE-Tech EV which has a bucket load of missing features from UK spec..way to go Renault..you never learn!
