Well going for the first time makes a great baseline for you to improve your car and yourself as a driver. Sometimes I look back at my AutoX videos from 2 years ago and reflect at how inexperienced I was as a driver 😂

There was definitely a lot of coasting at the beginning of the video. I was focusing heavily on trying to adapt to the horsepower increase from the previous event. As the video goes on I tried to get better with the coasting, but the issue is that ANY acceleration while turning just spins the inside wheel due to the open diff on the car. It's a tough battle but once we get an LSD the coasting should get better as I can accelerate leaving the turns.

@@Zorbii I went off of your last run as you said you were learning the car. Once you get off the brake, get back to the gas pedal to maintain, not increase, your speed. You’ll enter the turn at speed that doesn’t spin the car but because you lift you bleed off a ton of speed. In order to chip away at those tenths of a second there just needs to be input of either pedal while you’re out there.

That’s the tires being sticky enough to grab the rocks from the road and throw them into the car. I don’t have fender liners so it’s pretty noisy.

Do you think your traction issues will be solved just solely by an LSD, or do you think you need tires too? (if you've said what tires she has I either never saw or completely forgot so i have zero idea what tires shes got lmao)

I think an LSD would fix the issue. It might still spin a little without new tires but it should be MUCH better.

@@Zorbii I need to do Garii next. But Payday is how I envision the car in the future, supercharged and having a blast. I also did the best in forzas standards to recreate zoeii. The wheels aren't perfect but she is boosted by a Centrifical supercharger. Garii is hopefully coming soon.

Why you being toxic. It’s all fun and joking. Also I know this isn’t a “track day” but I’m just using the term to imply the car is running off of public roads on a closed course. Going to a drag strip isn’t considered a “track day” to some people because you’re just driving in a straight line. You could do that on any public road. What would you consider an actual track day?

@@Zorbii everytime i say "track" people always assume a drag strip, while most of the time i'm talking about a road course, so i'll have to disagree with a drag strip not being considered a "track day". i'm just saying call it like it is, an autocross day. dont be one of these guys that thinks going to the "track" is a big deal you literally just pay a fee and drive the track its not anything to hold above people or lure viewers but more importantly lets not pretend your girlfriends gut reaction to you saying cheerleaders was not her natural response and completely showed her insecurity. "yeah babe i'm totally gonna hire a bunch of cheerleaders to motivate me...and then i'm going to FUCK THEM ALLL!!!!" that woulda been my response and my wife and i would have had a good laugh

@@Zorbii Awesome man. I just started doing it last weekend and it’s super fun! I’d done some track stuff before, so by the end of my first run I was able to beat some of the other drivers. But it definitely deserves a lot more love. I feel like people never really talk about auto crossing when mentioning race events.

I’m actually sitting very close to the wheel. The Z has a pretty aggressive seating position at the moment. It just might not seem it on camera.

@@Zorbii the video looks like your arms are pretty extended and your fighting the wheel. Typically you should be really close to where you feel like an older person driving. Also more rake in the front of the seat helps too. Hope this helps

I actually have really long arms so I can only sit so close before I can’t turn the wheel properly. And also the car has no power steering so I definitely am fighting the wheel 😂😂 thanks for the advice though. We’re on the same page it seems like.

There is already one in the rear. That’s what the wing mounts too. And the traction issue is in the rear of the car CAUSED by the open differential that comes on the base model Z’s. If I can get a proper LSD, things will be a lot different

Yeah. I do plan to shift weight eventually but for now an LSD is more important.

Check out one of the more recent videos with the kit. Now that I'm more comfortable driving it, the main issue with the car is that the chassis doesn't have enough traction. Things such as coilovers and a proper LSD should help out a LOT.
