I simply can not believe how this wonderful womens sound feeds my core at my old age of 70. Zola is tremendose, I love everything she does. It would be amazing if one day I could meet and converse with her, before I leave this plane. We have yet to know what comes next!

Thank goodness for independent labels (Sacred Bones and PIAS / Souterrain Transmissions for example) or we would never get a chance to hear talented artists like Zola Jesus.
I feel very lucky to have seen Zola and her band perform these tracks at London's Koko last November.I met her post show and Her band walked into the pub. They were so nice,Mikey on drums is one of the nicest guys you will meet.

I like this a lot...a lot more than the last recording.Zola-Jesus needs more fucked-up sounds,like their first three-recordings! the songs on the last-Album aren't bad,but,for me I do prefer the rawness of the earlier-stuff.
