Hi Samantha 😂❤ Iam on infusions of zometa too, but I didnt get flu like symptoms, no fever or nausea, just severe bone pain. Iam sorry you had such a hard time with the side affects!! 😢 mine are every six months also. I had advanced OA at the start of diagnosis of my cancer, so it worsened and developed osteoperosis. What a mess lolol. Zometa is helping alot! Good luck with your treatments! The bones hurt bad enough, so I still havent gone back to that stupid pill lol. Anastrolzol ewe! Yuk! 😂 I dont know, maybe after zometa is done lol.
I don't want to see you in pain. I watch you because you help me feel better about my own journey. I will be starting bone injections or infusions as soon as they can find an AI that works for me. I have been told whichever they decide to give me will cause a lot of bone pain. AIs are debilitating. Don't know that I can stand much more pain in my life. Hopefully one will regulate with my body. As a nurse I applaud you for your will to fight through all of this sadly so many of my patients who give up mentally, seem to decline physiologically that much faster. How have your scans looked? Is the spot on your rib gone? I've watched several of your videos. God bless you for many years to come...💗
Your Oncologist sounds nice. You being so young he's trying to give you hot flashes solution cause they're so so uncomfortable. I feel good when you're not hurting. Am soo glad that dexa is doing some good. Sorry my dear about the tummy💕💕
I'm going for my zoledronic acid aka zometa tomorrow. It's my second one. First time around I felt exactly the same as you flu-like. I'm hoping this time around it will be better. Thank you for your videos.
It is a big deal that they stop you at the hospital, interrogate you and won’t allow a support person to accompany you to chemo or other treatments. It sucks.

thanks! Hard to say if it is working. I'm still taking the medicine because it's easy. At first, I thought I noticed some improvements, but it also could be because I keep my house cooler now
Samantha Lynn is interesting to see if you get any improvement because once every hour is a lot of hot flashes in a day... I like that your doctor give you ideas outside of the book... if we don’t try we won’t know.
i have watched a few of your videos before watching this. so you have had stage 4 breast cancer since 2020? Someone in my family is also taking zometa for cancer treatment but for a different type of cancer. To Protect cancer from spreading to the bone.
Hi, I was diagnosed in March 2019! At the time of this video, I had no evidence of disease on scans, so the Zometa was being used as a preventative treatment
@@d6487 I stopped taking it when I got pregnant so I was on it for 2 years. My cancer is back now so I’m taking a different drug that is similar to Zometa
I lost someone in may last mouth may 24th 2020. He passed away from colon cancer. 😔😢☹ a friend of my dads. He died a feel days after my dads birthday. Had a rough mouth. And my step mom told me that my boyfriend has covid19 but my boyfriend never covid19 my step mom has lied to me i belived her. I didnt think a step mom could lie to me ☹ i was crying for a week and worried i was gonna lost my boyfriend to covid19 but good thing he never had but the thing is my own step mom hurt me and lied to me about him covid19
@@SamanthaL cancer sucks. Covid19 sucks to. 2020 sucks ☹ just want to live a normle life not fear 😔 im hoping 2021 will be better for all of us. I am pretty been praying. Dont want to lose anyone to covid19. I dont cope very well of a persons death.
