I've sat in my bed all day long, crippled by my brain, my struggles, my fears, searching for a video that would make it better. I'm so very glad I clicked on yours. I can relate to you in so many ways, not to mention I'm a girl in my 20s with trauma and fears of abandonment. I've recently come to terms with the fact that my overwhelming emotions has become too debilitating and I'm finally ready to take the SSRI on my counter lol. Thank you for giving me hope, and good luck to you❤
Nurse here, quick question. I know you said you take the liquid form of zoloft but did they mention that you can crush zoloft and take it with apple sauce? This is the way my patients with dysphagia take it
U sound just like me. Feel like it ALWAYS SOMETHING. Like bad luck. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Been taking wellbutrin which helped me through the pandemic and my spiritual awakening. But i need to kick my life up and push through these heavy storm clouds. And i agree with u. I hope to get to a point where ive calmed my life down and the circumstances of it arent so incredibly unfortunate so i can stop. So im attempting to add a bit of zoloft to my regimen to push me through to the "other side" .Wish me luck and good luck to you
Depression, ptsd, anxiety. I was prescribed sertraline tab almost a month ago, i looked at your 3yrs ago video. Struggling and scared to take it, i came back to look at this video. I took my 1st dose today. Praying for the best 🙏🏾🦋 Im also a black queen. Thank you👑
I watched your video when you started Zoloft. I started Lexapro at that time as well. I quit Lexapro in May of 2022. I really slowly started to taper it off while learning meditation and breathwork to get alternative means to get my mental health better. The medication really helped me through the darkest time so I'm definitely pro medication when nothing else helps. When you're not able to eat or sleep because of anxiety and depression and you just want to die, no amount of meditation (it's not even possible in that state) or other non-chemical means help. I'm currently going to therapy and doing meditation and breathwork daily and so far so good. Maybe I needed the 2,5 years to heal. With medication. I wish you all the best. These videos are important. Your video 3 years ago helped me to feel more confident with going with my medication. You do important work. Thank you.
AGREED! I had a therapist tell me to try affirmations when I couldn’t even take care of myself cause I didn’t think I was important enough…medication isnt the only way to heal but it definitely makes the hardest part, getting started, easier. I’m so glad I could help you in your journey. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the video❤ I got prescribed Zoloft in May but until today I had no courage to take it because I have fear of the side effects and that it will change my personality because Im a really sensitive person. I fear that it can take away my sensitivty which is sometimes very hard to deal with but also a great gift I wish you all the best
I’m so happy that you’re taking the first step, your happiness and life are worth it. As someone that is also sensitive and likes that quality, I’m definitely still sensitive. I just don’t get clouded by ruminating thoughts as much. Take things slow, give it time, and check in with yourself often. The changes are subtle but over time you start to realize it’s easier to exist
Same, I was prescribed it almost a month ago and I have not taken it yet. Depression, ptsd, anxiety. I'm struggling to work and have had extremely difficulty just existing the past 4 years. I watched her 3yr ago video when I picked up my prescription. I came back for the other videos because I'm trying to build confidence to take it.
you are super articulate its isnane! i really love this video, i'm currently trying to figure out what medication to try first for OCD and anxiety which has been scary since I would be the first one in my family to take an ssri med for their mental health andddd the opinions many of my family members have being that we are all Dominican and latino culture doesn't really support the idea of mental health medication. it's been rough to say that least, but I am glas zoloft has been helpful for you and I hope it continues that way for as long as you choose to take it!
Great video! What start up effects did you have with Zoloft? Did you initially feel numb when you first started Zoloft? What dose of Zoloft works for you?
