Zombicide 2nd Edition - Speed Painting Survivors (Part 1)

The paint set is actually available at retail now, has been since last weekend! Regarding the pricing, I think you'll find that our paints and sets are priced very competitively in the industry. We take a great deal of pride in offering high quality paints and more reasonable prices.

@@TheArmyPainter Your paint set is, the game isn’t. I do use Army Painter, paints a lot. With others. I have only had issues with two/three colours. Your paints are good. But a £50 price tag is a bit step as they are only rebranded colours in the Army Painter line. I use you tools, brushes, paints, but this is a bit cheeky in the current market with throw away cash not readily available since COVID. If the set was £10/15 pounds cheaper, more hobbyists could afford to buy one off sets. Just think it’s a bit insulting to your user base(myself included).

@@stompingfreak8980 Maybe you're missing the value here? There are multiple unique colours included in the set, exclusive to CMON/Zombicide. It comes with a brush as well as an exclusive Phil the Cop miniature and ID Card. As well as 20 paints. The cost of the paints alone is what this set would retail for without all the extra mini or brush.

I do see the value, and like army painter paint sets from other releases(D&D) having the mini with the set is a great touch(which I assume you don’t produce, cmon does at no coast to you as it is included with whatever marketing deal you have with them) My only issues is a high price tag, in the current market. I understand pigments are expensive, I have used up many of your paints during lockdowns. My box of shame(unpainted minis), is nearly empty. An yes your paint are of a high standard. But with incomes stretched due to COVID consumers haven’t got a lot of disposable cash anymore. Say if the set was £40 you may add the paints when you buy the game. But when the paints are half the price of the game... ... well I’ll leave it there. I hope I didn’t offend anyone too much. Was not my intention. Have fun, an keep painting.
