Each player must play thier role and help each other to win. The bounty weapons are important enough to be prioritized for brawlers and gunslingers to get them. Townsfolk should gather weapons for all of the players and shoot through buildings. The faithful are great for helping the team move forward by preventing a zone of zombies from activating and deactivating zombie spawn zones or moving spawn zones.
I honestly feel like they made this one super hard to make hardcore zombie survivors like you happy. This is my first game, I backed the Kickstarter. So I am going to have to take some cards out of the spawn deck so I have a chance.
Just got Black Plague and have been loving it. I wanted to make it harder so i made a few "house rules" For abominations atleast There can be up to 4 on the map at once ( proxied gellerpox infected from 40k) They can be killed by normal weapons but they have 12 wounds or can be insta killed by the Bile like normal. Adds to some intensity. Also butes/fatties have 3-4 wounds(still working it out) and can be killed by any weapons I have tons of dice so i dont mind having wound dice on the map 😂
This is my first Zombicide game, and I could tell it seemed harder than what I've heard about Zombicide. One main thing for us is that all the brutes get spawned incredibly fast (I assume to counteract the gatling gun missions) but I typically have more brutes on the board at any given time than regular walkers. Therefore causing the abomination to activate more frequently, which can really back someone into a corner (or kill them).
I'm interested to see if the steampunk expansion will make it a bit easier (with all the unique steampunk equipment you can use). I really like how they simplified the noise mechanic from Zombicide: Invader as well.
Ironically the only zombicide I have yet to play is the mainline version. I have all of the others and a whole bunch of expansions. Undead or alive is easily the hardest core experience in my opinion. Usually zombicide is my go to game while having a beer or if I'm too tired for anything heavy. Not so with undead or alive. It took me two attempts to get through the tutorial. This game is mean and I don't think it likes me very much.
@@rodrigomarra2710 For me, absolutely. Don't get me wrong though. I still reckon it's a decent game. Just not one I'm going to play unless I'm feeling pretty sharp because it will almost certainly hand me my backside.
@@danslinn8331 I also think that games should be fun and played together with a good beer. It is one reason that I still do not have Z:GH... I like the Old West vibe, but I do not like punishing games...
I was surprised with this game. I have had a difficult time with it but I have had more fun with this gameplay than my black play the game play. The game play has resulted in some fantastic, thematic stories to tell. This may replace Black Plague as my favorite.
Bought straight away as my first Zombicide experience. Too many Dark Fantasy games. No interested in Marvel. Not enough Cowboy Horror games....or pirates which I find strange.
I think it’s one the easiest ones I’ve played. I’m still looking for the challenge. try and play a single expansion without the main board now that’s a challenge, and I still beat it with ease. if you guys want a real challenge, play dark souls.
