Great review Sam! It sounds like you're over your dislike of the Abominations which leads me to think this set fixes that "do or die" scenario? An' stop insulting yourself! You play T.I. 3 and Warhammer 40k fer godsakes, now that takes a mind. (Specifically, convincing someone else to play or get into those investment kind of games!)
The bow inflicting dragon fire.. This just silly, they have probably realized, that the initial system to get the dragon bile and put it on fire was too tedious and now are trying to workaround it. Just make those abominations killable with anything and give them more hitpoints.. Yeah, that won't be very innovative, but maybe more playable.
once you get black plague, can you just mix all of the cards and characters in there? Do the items card and new characters stay on the level of the regular black plague characters?
Cheers Sam Matey. Love this expansion and the game overall. I just wish that the release schedule for the add on's wasn't so intense. Last week alone 5 new products appeared at my online shop of choice and it was only 3 weeks before that 4 others appeared. I realise you don't need them all but please CMON slow it down a little! My wife will kick me out if you don't ;) :)
It's funny, because this IS them slowing it down. In previous Zombicide seasons, pretty much all of the content for the season was released at the same time. FWIW only two of the artist packs come with item cards, so I'd argue those (I think its the 2 Kopinski expansions?) are the only mandatory ones, unless one of the others really speaks to you. All I know is, the Gipi artist pack is right at the bottom of my priorities list, where it belongs.
Ah Warhammer meets Ghost Stories what's not to love?? Seriously Alan, as a fellow Galaxy Defenders player how do you rate this? What are the most important expansions to get? Do any make the game prohibitively difficult?
I earn 400 dollar per month in Serbia (and that's a good payment in here). I decided to buy Descent 2ed over this game... but that was a hard decision.
