10:02 After knocking down the zombies they misplaced one of them, it was on the street and not inside the "house" where there were only 3... so it should be 5 zombies on the street and 3 in the "house"
11:10 When defending against zombies you add up the total of all the characters STOP values that are in that location and are not KO'ed and if it's equal or higher than the number of Zombies the active player is safe...
If the value is lower only the active player gets KO'ed and loses 1 Life Point
12:37 The Bow is a Duration Weapon so it can't be reloaded with ammo...
18:57 He shoot twice so he's done 3 actions already, not 2, so moving to the street would be is 4th and final action
20:25 Will did 5 Actions... Move + Move + Move + Search + Move

I am generally 'blah' to both real-time AND zombie games, but I really like seeing Jen take part in runthroughs, so when the game doesn't jive for me, the company certainly still does.

"Let's go to the mall!" Anyone else get the song from Robin Sparkles in your head? Damn it's stuck in mine now :PWow this game looks super intense and difficult! There are soooo many zombies appearing all the time.

We lost on the same scenario as well. A big horde that had been growing through the entire game dropped on the fourth to last tile and completely swamped us. I guess we had been doing way to much noise with the assault rifles and shotguns we'd found and kept thanks to several ammunition cards. All in all it's a real fun game, a strong favorit in the "zombie genre" along with Mall of Horror and Dead of Winter A Crossroads Game, and I really like the production quality of it as well. The set up is a bit of a downer though for a game that is suppose to take 15 minutes to play. But I guess that's from having played the four first scenarios in a row and having had to put up four sets after each other. If you get stuck on one mission and replay that a few times I guess the set up don't feel as bad, and again it's mostly relative to that 15 minute gameplay time.

My wife gets so nervous on the dice rolling phase of SteamPark, she would probably get an anxiety attack playing this

@11:10 where Soi Fon gets attacked, you count up all the resistance/defense of all the characters' highest defense weapon instead of just the active character. If I recall correctly :).

I already have Escape so I don't think I need this one too...at least not anytime soon....gotta wear out Escape first.

@12:18 Isnt the bow a durability weapon so you can't refill the ammo of that weapon?

It looked like you guys had your characters holding more than 1 weapons each. Doesn't that break the encumbrance rule? hmmm... Now that I watched a little more I'm thinking those additional weapon card (under the top weapon cards) are "removed from play" but left there for streamlining the process.

You have 2 slots for weapons, so the characters can have 2 weapons at the same time...or 1 Heavy Item that covers both weapon slots... 1 slot is for 1 hand, so the slot on the right is for the right hand and the slot on the left is for the left hand... The Heavy Item requires 2 hands to be carried so it is in the middle of those 2 to remind you if you carry 1 heavy Item you can only have 1 card in your hands... The Encumbrance Rule says that each slot can only have 1 item... meaning that you can't have 2 weapons in the left slot... if you have both weapon slots occupied already and you get another weapon, you can equip it but first you have to get rid of one of the previous 2 weapons you were holding

Why can't you play this with one character each in a two-player?

because each character would take twice as much potential damage, since there are fewer characters to spread the attacks around, and likely it would become too hard. but with some simple tweaks, it could certainly have worked, and i think it's a real shame the devs didn't make those tweaks
