Saw them live for 10 bucks at Bogarts in Cincinatti. Double opening acts with Soundgarden, opening for Voivod which was weird. Had to drive from Knoxville to Cincinatti but gas was cheap back then. I went for Faith No More and came back and bought all of Soundgarden's stuff, my friend went for Soundgarden and came back and bough all of Faith No More's stuff. We left 2 songs into Voivod. During this song Patton crowd surfed and did the song on his back from the crowd during the slow parts. Then they tossed him back on stage for the fast parts. Best concert I have ever seen. Primus is a close second.
Fuck he has so much damn energy in every live performance; esp. back in the late 80's, early 90's. I miss that time and the music so much. The best music is from the 80s and 90's.
Bill Gould is does so "much under the hood" work in his songs. Incredible bass player. I've always loved his live sound and the way his looping, crushing bass lines thread throughout.
If you've seen this song played live you'll never forget it. The rest of the album on top, blew my mind at the time when they came to Liverpool and rocked the f**k out of the place.
To have been at this gig and witnessed it was amazing and I still sit and watch it now never surpassed the best gig ever and I've been to lots and lots
Everytime I hear Michael sing I just fall in love with him all over again. I am married and adore my husband also. but my heart has room for Michael too!
You're married? Well I'm fucking straight and I'm a man... and my heart still has room for Mike Patton lol. I remember one time we talked with my male friends about who's the sexiest man alive and all of us agreed it's Mike Patton lol.
Ten numer jest znakomity jak cały koncert i LP zniego ,który do dziś mam na kasecie magnetofonowej... cudowne lata.Moc RnR Dzięki za udostępnienie video Pozdrawiam serdecznie
Turns out Faith No More band got an interesting guy after their singer left..... This album was written before Mike Pattycakes joined Turns out Mike Patton is an exceptional weirdo Legend
Absolute classic hard rock song. Great Band that I don't hear of anymore. All their achievements and ground breaking music. They are all great Musicians, it's just the drummer stands out to me. Don't even know his name !
FNM rocked the late 80's early 90's! Mike is my idol & I like Jim Martin´s guitar playing but I've always thought that his V-guitar looks so homemade... Maybe just an old model...
You're everything that's why I cling to you When I emerge my thoughts converge to you To you The world is so small compared to you And everybody's wrong compared to you To you I begin to see through your eyes All the former mysteries are no surprise So now, you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient Hey look at me lady I'm just a little baby You're lucky to have me I'm cute and sweet as candy As charming as a fable I'm innocent and disabled So hug me and kiss me Then wipe my butt and piss me I hope you never leave 'Cause who would hear me scream Nobody understands Except the toys in my hands So now you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient Hey look at me lady I'm just a little baby If I smile, then you smile Then I'll get mad for awhile I melt in your mouth And in your hands whenever I can But I really do nothing Except kickin' and fussin' I like to make a mess I laugh at your distress I sit all day in my crib Absorbing all you give I'm helpless I'm flawless I'm a machine Give me, I need my toys Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong Keep me hot keep me strong keep me everlong So now you listen 'Cause I'm omniscient
One of the best songs from one of the greatest rock bands that’s ever been. This band absolutely does not get the credit or recognition they deserve. I love Epic but they’re so fucking far beyond where that song ended up classifying them.
I understand your saying ... To me it is the kind of lirics of many pop stars that have less meaning than bare facts of life . I loved this tube ! Peace + knowledge for all !
i think these guys woke people up. people were hungry for something really different. i think faith no more prepared people for the 90's rock movement and helped them embrace it when it came. before pearl jam and nirvana exsisted..before metallica became big...FNM ruled
I always wondered that myself. Maybe he just found a new style and preferred that one. His original style of singing was good for 'The Real Thing' material but wouldn't have suited any of their later stuff, and that's when they made their most interesting music. Anyway, his new style was far more influential than his old style and his voice was far more powerful later on.
