Zondwa Mandela lauded Winnie's strength and warmth 

Thank you Zondwa for looking after uMam Winnie. She took so much joy and pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. You are all testament to her will to live. Thank you for sharing such beautiful anecdotes about her, she was brilliant (erudite and articulate), bold (courageous) , beautiful and above all selfless. Despite the many challenges she faced at every stage of her life she continued to give of herself. It warms my heart to know that Tata Columbus saw the best of her, the best in her. Ah! MaNgutyana gone but not forgotten, I miss you so.
