Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner MARS | PSVR Review 

I can't imagine a scenario where I would be playing a VR game without headphones so to me having sound coming out of the dual shock doesn't make sense

After living out some childhood mech fantasies with Code 51 recently, I think this is one I'm definitely going to have to play. Thanks for the review 👍

Too bad there isn't a new developer for VR games that just took old existing titles and ported them to Virtual Reality platforms.

OMG yes! MGS 2 is actually one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. And Silent Hill 2 is Silent Hill 2.

Nice review, as always. But I don't know about a SH2 VR remake. Perhaps I'm too much of a coward, but VR scares are a bit "too real" for me. I was on edge during the entirety of RE7, and SH2 has monsters that I find much more disturbing than anything in RE7. I can't imagine how scary it would be to deal with one of the Nurses in VR (after you get past the whole "hey there, sexy lady" bit, of course). ...I say all that, and yet I'm excited for Home Sweet Home.

I picked it up. it's a great game and they really did a good job with the VR elements. I never played this when it first came out on PS2, I did play the original game and I remember how awesome it was, one of the first games to us volumetric smoke on the PS2, that was and impressive effect

Another awesome video, I couldnt get away with this when I played the demo though, I just didn't feel as though I was in control

I have a couple of ZOE specific questions. First, with the original Second Runner on the PS2 there was a "Previous Story" option that basically summed up the entirety of the first game in a movie. Is that still present here? The HD collection didn't have it from my understanding, but then since the first game was included in that bundle it's understandable. Second, (technically a SPOILER for anyone else reading) when looking around the cockpit, can you see Dingo's body? And if so, then how does the game handle it when Ken hops into the cockpit with you?

Played the latest demo. Found the switching between in cockpit to cutscenes rather jarring. Also for some reason my R stick wouldn't change targets, had to unlock/relock, but that might have just been a setting not matched in the tutorial lesson. One other thing is on my mind about this game - why do the mechs all have giant schlongs?

a good thing to add in the reviews is if you can play siting down, need full room or such

Still not sold on this game. I've yet to try the new demo, but the original was so chaotic I wasn't able to get immersed in the world at all. I'll try the new demo ASAP. And Silent Hill in VR!? I'd love to revisit that cold dead town again in VR.

Bryan i just bought Moss and firewall in the last 24 hrs totally forget about this! Is it worth picking up right now or wait for a sale? My local game store has only 2 copies left. Cheers

I'm digging the positive / negative comparison graphic at the end. It's a nice touch. I didn't have a PS2, so I've never played this one before. GameFly shipped it Tuesday, so I should have it any day now. Definitely looking forward to it. The only problem is I haven't played my Rift in weeks, and it seems that PSVR won't be letting up any time soon. Oh well, first world problems I guess. [})

i tried the demo and it has a giant body inside the mech, i wonder if they fixed it, anyway, i hope this game sales well enough so konami can give us another classic on vr

Man metal gear solid in VR would be a dream come true

the vr mech makes my eyes hurt but its very fun

Me and my brother always loved zone of the ender....why can't we get the first one 😐lol

The voice acting misses are so bad and retro that it looks like it just makes it more nostalgic

The original metal gear solid fully remade in vr could be so fucking good imagine standing on top of rex fighting liquid

I could see it being more fun with move controllers

Remember folks: This is European difficulty, so Easy is Normal, Normal is Hard, and Hard is Hard As Balls (assuming it follows what they've done in all previous releases)...

Not surprised this review took precedence over Torn. I powered through the entirety of that game and it was ROUGH. The puzzles grew stale and never got any better, the story had an awfully forced twist at the end and the controls were less than ideal. If anyone is still on the fence about that title, do yourselves a favor and get this or Solus Project instead.

I loved zoe2 back in the day, so i blindly bought this one. Disappointed. First person is unplayable, it switchs from target to target from anywhere. Fastest and strongest motion sickness ever. 2d cutscenes are just cheap.

Please change the intro music. Its horrible imo
