Treecer Games are back with the first and only planned expansion to their wonderful board game - Zoo Tycoon!
I have had the lucky opportunity to play Zoo Tycoon The Board Game - New Shores which is a brand new expansion which adds a whole new animal exchange, a modular system and vivarium species enabling players to have more scoring opportunities, new species to explore and the ability to play the game exactly how they'd like by mixing and matching main and cospecies.

It's such a gorgeous production (and of course will be even better at release!). The game is one of my absolute favourites but is definitely a crunchy one 😁

@@bluedogboardgameson a different topic, dis you ever play Le Havre? I didn't see it in your Uwe playthroughs. I just picked up a used copy, never played for 25 dollars(US). My Uwe collection is growing!

No Le Havre was one that was on my radar but I decided not to go for it in the end as I have read that it's a bit hit and miss solo. If I was going to add one more game to the Uwe collection it would have been Le Havre! You'll have to let me know what you think of it, I could add it onto my ranking list at a later date if it's super good 😁

Hi Sean and thank you! I'm at that point as well - I have now implemented a 'one in, one out' system...but so far I've got the 'one in' part sorted but have not yet done the 'one out' bit! It's so hard when there's so many good games!

Will you make a solo playthrough video of the expansion?

I may do at some point! It's a very long game so it won't be anytime soon I'm afraid if I do make one however. The gameplay is very much the same as the base game (minus the small vivarium phase) and I have a playthrough of that one on the channel which should help :)
