The thing is I think it's very clear this is not an actual "zoo" where people come to look at animals and learn about them I haven't been to a zoo where zebras and giraffes are kept in enclosures that are that small and have solid concrete walls over 40ft high

They probably didn't do the transition sequence yet or it doesn't have scripts or other mechanics loaded in. Another option is that the things between the transitions are still in the making phase and their current form does not allow them to be shown, because they could spoil it, e.g. the atmosphere of the demo. Or maybe I don't know something.

I figured it was just to cut down on needless video time for those with short attention spans.

Its demo footage, its meant to show off the gameplay and atmosphere, not to be a walk through. Its good to be critical, especially in this time, but not every game is trying to scam you.

@@tobiasberlin759 The Flood from Halo, in the books specially things like this happen, there is even a comic where a ship that had a jungle for hunting and the ship is boarded by the infection and everything inside result infected and extremly mutated.

The Thing may be old but it actually never gets old, I'm in love with shit like this, the Flood, Necromorphs, etc. I've gotta try this game when it comes out

Not sure if dead island 2 is being used as a bad example here because it’s a fairly decent game with very impressive gore systems.

Dead island 2 was genuinely a good game, it just wasn't worth how LONG of a wait we had to endure. Maybe if we had waited 2 or 3ish years it would have been fair but over a decade is a bit much

I know the official release date is end of September but didn't they have an official release date for April earlier this year? I also really hate when game companies put a demo out a year or more before the game actually comes out. That's not how demos are supposed to work and it makes me mad 😂 like demos are to build hype and excitement for the game. But everyone will have forgotten about the game and you will have wasted all of that publicity and excitement if the full release is more than a couple months past the demo release! Can people reply and give updates to this comment if anything new happens?

I've seen the same treaser trailer pop up on RU-vid for a year. The dialogue is absolutely stilted and artifical sounding. But I'm not shocked, game industry hacks will do anything to undercut voice actors, programmers, and other staff.

That's how I felt, the voice being very AI.

That…actually falls in line with the creators’ previous work. It was also criticized for using AI voices.
