Was ist das Fazit then? Should I get an ECM6 cable for the XYH6 , buy a pair of ECM1 or C2, or just use the Tascam X8 mics?

Hallo, ich würde sagen: Wenn du das XYH6 schon hast, then it might be an option to buy the ECM6, because you could also connect other microphones from the same series to the F8 or F8n PRO. But if you already use the Tascam X8 I think the microphones already coming with the X8 are excellent too! (Little different from the X6: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PH02tMM85Lo.html) In the end: your ears decide, you may as well just closely listen to the video again using professional headphones. Regarding XYH6 vs ZPC-1, somehow I like the ZPC-1 better, but with these you will also require some more microphone stands, whereas the ECM6 can be screwed directly on a quater 20 camera mount. Hope that helped?

Jawohl, ich schon habe the XYH6 und the MS für my H6, auch the Tascam X8, but now that I have an F8nPro, I am thinking whether that expensive ECM6 cable would be worth the Geld or if I would be better off with a pair of budget pencils. I lean towards the XLR as it is compatible with all three recorders as well as my F3. But giving a new life to the Zoom capsules is tempting. Danke noch einmal.

@@ww1www You are richtig, both and. It is interesting to reanimate the ancient ZOOM mics in 32 Bit floating space, but more flexible, to sich für pencil Mics zu entscheinden. Some of my youtube viewers told me the noise floor of my ZPC-1 matched pair is too high but I don't agree. I also did a comparison between zpc one and the more affordable Behringers... We have also some much more expensive pencil mics on the market as well ... Please tell me how you decide, letztendlich
