Very good playing and sounds! In my opinion the preset sounds aren't that bad as long as someone like you knows what to do with them. Additionally it is very interessting to hear the difference between different input options. For my ears everything sounds very good and accurately defined. I really appreciate that you put the unit and not yourself at the center of attention. Keep it up!

I see some folks bitching about price or that it doesn't achieve anything the old processors did from 20 years ago. That's bullshit. Now, while it's true that Bonedo knows how to do demos and they always seem to sound better on YT, the fault is your own. I record only and have a tube preamp, Cab M, etc.....and also own a Kemper toaster, Boss GT-001......they all have merit. I got rid of a Headrush Gigboard because it just didn't cut it, but the touchscreen is what made me buy it. This Zoom G11 ( I use to have the G5N ) is layed out EXACTLY the way I would want for someone who's an analog guy stuck in a digital world.

What I don't like about other Multi is that they don't have Play view of preset or stomp unlike zoom g11, line 6 pod go, helix, and headrush.

I ve been playing for 25 years. I’ve tried from boss... to line6 (all brands). And I do respect the sound of Zoom pedals. Really good zoom from de MS50 for example. This one sound los great too.

Je me souviens de mon premier multi effet zoom il y a de ça plus de 25 ans... C'est impressionnant les progrès qu'ils ont fait ! Autant avant je n'y étais pas favorable pour une utilisation pro, Autant maintenant je me pose vraiment la question...!

Lots of people seem to think this is just a G5n with a touchscreen. I don't really believe that to be true. I believe the amps were all redone (some programming savvy fella tried to import the amps from this onto one of the 3/5 series pedals and the code was different). Plus there are many new amp models, and effects. The effects loops, IRs, touch screen, etc all bring this closer to the lauded stuff out there, and this comes in cheaper than most "top shelf" modelers. This is also brand new, so I'd be willing to bet Zoom has future updates in the works. I also think the UI is second to none and extremely gig-friendly. I've compared it to the Helix stuff, and while they certainly sound different if you load up the same or similar models, I don't think one sounds objectively better than the other.

Cool demo. Today i have subscrived! Id like to see how works the bank/ patch footswitches, cause the unit sounds great, but i think i still prefer G5N cause is nice to navigate between patches while playing, and this one looks like is not so good at it, but i dont know if this is right. First off it is $800 at GC and Sweetwater. I like the fact that the amp modeling is separate. On my G5n it takes up another 2 slots of the 9 available. I also like the fact that it is universal. Is it worth $500 more than my G5n? Won't know until I try one out.

Seeing how easily you can scroll through presets on the touchscreen made me think "So, one pearl of sweat while I'm playing could change my patches and light rain or a splash of liquid could ruin everything!" I love the way the Zoom stuff sounds and I have several Zoom units but this seems like a floor unit for studio or house playing. I think I'll hold onto my AxeFX XL+ setup. Could use this for indoor jam sessions. Thanks for the great demo! It was nice to hear a variety of playing styles.

Are the drum patterns (68) the same as in the G5n or even the 50 bucks G1n??? That would be a shame in this price range!

I think I may get this. Maybe it’s weird but I like the look. I think the interface design is great. And I mostly just use an amp and a couple of pedals. I have a modeler, a DV Mark Multiamp, that I like but it may be time to upgrade. Anyone here have this and how’s it holding up?

it is not the best. there is boss gt1000 (core) which supports parallel signal chains.

I just used a gt-1000 on a multi day session I wasn’t impressed. I have a g3n as my headend for my studio rig I use the dlx and ms1959 and about 5 ir’s I can’t remember the last time I had to mic up in the studio. An inexpensive and competent pedal this thing is overkill for me. I’m a working musician I can’t afford gear acquisition syndrome.

Доброго дня! А я, кстати, тут сегодня всем вопрос задаю, - что лучше купить себе, - этот zoom G 11, или line 6 HX Stomp! А Вы могли бы сказать, почему решили, что этот zoom лучше, чем Stomp? Только что был на обзоре этого zoom G11, и там почему то в комментариях многие отзываются очень негативно о нём в плане его пластмассового звука! ... Вот теперь и не знаю, что же лучше взять, - G11 или HX Stomp?!

This multi effects unit sound quite good in amp input as a pedalboard. Hotone Ampero 2, for example, doesn't sound so good straight in the amp.

My take: 1. Most processors sound similar. 2. Even after editing you'll likely find a factory preset that sounds like it. 3. Even with all the capabilities you'll likely use a mere handful of sounds. 4. I have units from 20 years ago that sound like this...but the interface on this unit has more lights on it. 5. My older units are all but worthless. Keep that in mind. 6. Zoom makes good products. I am happy with my $80 (bought new) multi-effects pedal. 7. The price on the G11 is, frankly, too high. In another year or two it will be lower. 8. I like the touch screen and ease of editing.

Having started my journey on guitar with an ancient zoom….I’ve always had this soft corner for zoom, even when everyone else went for the then popular line6 or boss equivalents…..but now that I have gone the analog pedal board / rack route, I don’t see myself coming back to an all in one solution, specially to what zoom has offered here….the sounds just don’t cut it for me …slightly disappointing I must say…

I hate that they didn't put a 12AX7 in their last batch of processors, but these still sound amazing. Zoom always outperforms the competition but is also on the low budget side of selling costs so people often are prejudiced against them. I always run an analog pedal into my digital units and overdrive them with analog gain which works phenomenally well, *and Zoom out of every brand has the quietest metal shred high gain response.* I have nearly zero noise from hiss, buzz etc. to none at all with my Zooms. Everything else you need a gate *and I despise noise gates.*

ya if this thing was a true helix competitor then it’d be worth it but the 9 effects limit is not great and it can’t profile or anything. a lot of pedalboards for professionals have way more than 9 pedals on at one time. the modeling on the zoom g1 is probably not as comprehensive but id rather stick that on my existing pedalboard for just my amp out+ room delay and reverb
