Greetings, good day. I have a problem with my Zoom G6 unit that a I bought online from one of your authorized dealer stores here in Philippines last February 2022. When I plug the guitar cable into the input jack of the Zoom G6, at first it works for a couple of seconds, and then output sounds just go off. But I could still here the patch noise (meaning the amp / drive effects are working). Often times, I could hear a litte sound from my guitar but its so minimal to the point of neglible. Even when connected through my PC, still the same situation but I could still hear the audio coming from my PC or Recording Software when I use the G6 as an interface. Meaning the headphone I connected through the output jack of Headphone is working. I am a Zoom Effects user for years and this the first time I encountered such issue. I hope you could help and assist me regarding this matter. Thank you very much
Hello there, I would like to make a request for the next upgrade of Zoom G6, equipment that I recently purchased to replace my Zoom G1xON. It was a great disappointment to discover that on the G6 it is not possible to link the expression pedal to any effect parameter, as it was possible easily on the G1xON, you cannot even set the limit of a parameter for the effects dedicated to the expression pedal, for example, in the Vibe, despite the fact that one configures the rate at a certain value, pressing the pedal to the bottom exceeds said configured value, making said configuration useless. I ask you to please take this request into consideration, which I suppose must be something that all users have found to be a disadvantage, which overshadows a very good device such as the G6, which has exceptional sound quality. It would be very easy for your engineers to reconfigure the firmware so that the expression pedal can be freely assigned similar to the G1xON. I hope you take my request into consideration and I hope hearing from you soon. kind regards.
Updating firmware...guitar lab should recognize the zoom, if not use sd card ... buy sd card (20.00$)...buy sd adaptor to pc (20.00$)...buy usb cable to plug zomm g6 to pc to use guitar lab (10.00$)...buy electrical adaptor to connect the 9V adaptor to the wall....(3.00$)...if you buy the zoom g6, buy it because it sounds good not because it's cheaper than other modelers. Sd card for updating the zoom? Bad idea...there is already a usb port in the zoom.
You're overcomplicating it. Put in an SD card and connect the USB and it shows up as a drive to transfer files (updates) to just like a USB memory stick for example...no SD adapter required. Devices in general have worked this way for ages, some people just like to complain. Boomers gonna boom. I don't know why so many people have heartburn over having to provide an SD card...almost every device (camera, etc) that requires memory uses on and it's cheap, convenient, and expandable. I guarantee if they hard wired in 1gb or memory or something without an SD slot, people would be bitching because you couldn't add an SD card for more space...SMH
