A closer look at the Zoom H2 portable field recorder by Doug Boyd, Director of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky Libraries. www.uky.edu/libraries/nunncenter
I hope they gave you a freebie for doing this, Doug. Al joking aside, this is a phenomenal amount of bang for your buck and I cannot understand why the world is not yet awash with such high quality solid state recorders. When you compare this with -say - the Walkman Pro, we are like on a different planet. Come to think of it, a very lazy Planet that would rather download than record. I wish playback of recorded files was easier and you could pause and resume your recordings.
Hi Doug...Just so you know, my H2 has official specs as: Recording Media:SD memory card(16MB-2GB), SDHC memory card(4GB-32GB) I use a 16GB SDHC with no problem. If your H2 is only accepting SD cards, make sure you have the latest firmware. Nice video! - Gerard
